Customer Q&A

1 question already asked

Q
How much power should the stereo have to drive 4 sets of speakers through out the house?

A
Power requirements are dependent on speaker efficiency and room size.
bryan  Jan 06, 2014
A
IF all four are on at once at the same loudness you would need four times the power. But the way you hook them up will affect the impedance which will affect the available power. Also some amps are designed to run two pairs in series which produces a higher impedance. To be on the safe side get an amp that is guaranteed to handle impedances down to 4 ohms. Those amps tend to be the better ones and a bit more expensive. And get your salesman's advice on how best to hook them up.
