Russound's X1 wireless audio system lets you send music from up to four audio sources in a central location to as many rooms as you'd like, without running wires. The X1-RX220 receives wireless audio signals from the Russound X1-TX8 transmitter (required, sold separately). Use one receiver in every room where you want music, like a bedroom, kitchen, patio, or porch. The X1-RX220 features 20 watts per channel of built-in amplification, so it can power your stereo speakers.
The X1 system operates on multiple wireless bands for noise-free performance. It doesn't require a connection to your Wi-Fi® home network and can switch between bands automatically to limit interference from other wireless activity. The receiver's front-panel buttons let you set the wireless frequency and toggle between the audio sources connected to the transmitter.

Wireless Receiver & Amplifier: The Russound X1-RX220 is a small but powerful wireless audio receiver & amplifier that is part of Russound's X1 professional wireless audio platform. The X1-RX200 communicates directly with a Russound X1 transmitter (X1-TX8, required and sold separately) from a distance up to 100'. With an internal 2 x 20 watt RMS amplifier, the X1-RX220 has ample power to efficiently drive a pair of connected speakers. The result is exceptional performance with no lengthy cable runs, making the X1 system the ideal multi-zone audio solution for retrofit applications.
Triple Wireless Bands: Russound's X1 professional wireless audio system operates over three bands - 2.4GHz, 5.2GHz and 5.8GHz - featuring Channel Hopping mode or Fixed Channel mode. The Channel Hopping mode will combat crowded spaces by searching for the cleanest channel within the band. Although the X1 wireless system uses bands that are in the WiFi spectrum, the proprietary digital signal transmitted is not used in the WiFi system. This provides a more reliable connection with very low latency between the original source signal and the output receiver, eliminating any echo effect.
Adjustable Diversity Antennas: The X1-RX220 wireless receiver & amplifier features two adjustable diversity antennas to optimize performance. These external antennas are used to increase signal range. The two antennas should be in vertical and parallel position for maximum performance.
Speaker Terminals: The X1-RX220 wireless receiver & amplifier is fitted with a 4-pole speaker snap-connector to connect a pair of speakers (4-ohm minimum).
Gain Control: The Russound wireless receiver and amplifier has independent gain control for the left and right speaker channel.
Metal Chassis: The wireless receiver & amplifier's metal enclosure provides increased EMI resistance and better wireless performance. For best performance, locate the receiver in locations that is not surrounded by other metal or other equipment that may interfere with transmission.
AC Power Adapter: The Russound X1-RX220 wireless receiver & amplifier operates off of standard household current using the supplied external AC power adapter and cord (input: 100-240V~50/60Hz, 1.6A; output: 27.0V-2.4A
