The molded polypropylene cone works with a poly-foam surround to deliver accurate response, while the stitched-on, flexible tinsel leads hang tough through violent cone movement so you get consistent performance. The steel basket provides a rock-solid foundation for these tenacious thumpers, and you get a PVC magnet cover for additional protection.

The P1S410 10" subwoofer handles up to 150 watts RMS, and can be mounted in a sealed or ported box.

Awsome Sub

Jdep from Tiffin, OH on 4/24/2011

This subwoofer is an awsome compliment to any stereo system. I put 1 in a sealed box, in the back of my dodge durango. theres alot of airspace in the truck, but this sub fills it with tight clean bass. Im not into big bass that wakes the neighbors, but this sub would if i want to. perfect sound at all volume levels. I have it paired with a kenwood kac5204 amp also from cruthfield, and its a great combo. If you are looking for a nice clean sound, this sub does the job.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I put this single 10" sub with the FG P300-1 FG amp into my Ram 1500 and it is outstanding! The bass responce is far better than I expected. The Amp was rated at 150 watts (4ohms) and when i looked at the test sheet it actually put out 250 watts, which powers this one sub really well. I am very satified with the combination and it complements the Kenwood head unit that it is connected too. Would very much recommend this to anyone!

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

If you are looking for a very versatile sub for a great price, this is the one. I have had better products in the past, but have always paid way more. Nice. I use mine in a small sealed enclosure in both of my vehicles with a small(200-300 watt) amp, also Rockford. Small footprint, great sound. To sum up, you can't beat it for the price.

Installed 2 in the Crutchfield recommended dual-sub box in the trunk of a Mustang this weekend, and these things hit HARD. They'll vibrate your hair, and they're only 10's. I was very impressed. Very nice subs, and good looking too.

I bought 2 of these subs from my 07 silverado. They are hooked up to my factory deck. I used a down fire enclosed box. All I can say is wow. My brother-in-law gave me his old Sony xplod xm1002hx amp. The amp is more than enough to push the subs. These subs sound nice. They sound like I have a pair of 12's in the truck. I recommend them. You can't go wrong with them.

This Rockford Doesn't ROCK!

LicorShot from Charlotte Nc on 4/23/2009

bottom line ... when i first got this sub it was awesome ... great bass powered it with a 300 watt amp and NO problem ... well i had that setup stolen and yet again went with the P1 and a 200 watt rockford amp .... i just did it last night for the 5th time this year blown sub again .... i kept buying another and another and now i am done .... if your gonna blast this sub go else where ... if you just want a little thumb its excellent but don't go blasting Pitbulls Krazy song and expect this sub to hold up ... it just won't happen

Adam from Huntington Beach, CA on 2/24/2009

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This thing is awesome. Not only does it have sharp sound and crisp bass but it is also capable of going to the very low frequency end as well. I coupled it with the Valor 702 In Dash DVD/Cd player, four Kenwood 6" door speakers and a 600.4 Amplifier. Bridged the rear channels to the sub and used the front two for the highs. With the available High/Low pass filters on the amp I eneded up with the perfect sound. I did all this for my wife for Valentines day and she couldn't be happier. Plus, I got one for my truck too. WIN-WIN!!!

Great Subs for the price

Michael from Georgia on 2/11/2009

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

These subs are awesome for the price. They are low powered at 150 watts at 4 ohms but if you pair them with the correct amp they sound great. I have 2 of these with the Rockford mono 300 watt amp. That is 300 watts at 2 ohms which is perfect for these 2 subs. Too much power will blow your speakers.

RF Punch Stage 1 subs

BooMer from Rockville, IN on 10/14/2008

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

These subs are a great deal. PERIOD! I have 2 of these hooked up to a Profile HA700M amp and they sound great. I only have 1 complaint and that is i wish these subs would have a little higher power rating. Dont get me wrong, they shake the heck out of my car, but i wish they would push a little higher RMS. Overall good speakers tho, cant go wrong with them, great deal. 4 of 5 starz (only b/c i wish the RMS output was somewhere between 50-350 RMS) Other than that. Very good product and great speakers. Thanks again Crutchfield!

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

First I want to tell you I was a past dealer for Rockford Fosgate for many years and loved they're products..... These Sub's DON'T carry enough power handling!!!! I now have blown a 3rd 10" for no good reason!! I have a Rockford Amp that is 500 watts running two of these and yet it still blows my subs!! I am going with a pair of kenwood's and ditching these SUBS!!!!! Sorry Rockford, but you failed on these speakers!! Matt

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

WOW!! All I can say is WOW!! So I was game looking for a set of new subs and saw this deal. I am powering them w/ a JL Audio A1400 (500w @ 2 Ohms). Have them mounted in a sealed 1.50 cu ft box (each gets .75 cu ft) and these suckers pound!! If I didn't know any better, I would swear I was listening to a pair of 12's pumping 4-500 watts a piece. Any set properly with the proper x-over and slope.....they are very tight, musical, not boomy. I would recommend these to anyone looking for subs.....Go give them a try......

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Let me simply say WOW!!! And for the price, they can't be beat. I was first surprised once I opened the box and saw how big the magnet was. It was huge and I was concerned it would not fit my small boxes for my ext cab Sierra (0.65 cu in sealed). I compared it to my old 10" JL W2 and love these compared to the JL. Ok for the sound I hooked these subs up to my complete system I got here from Crutchfield. Alpine head, Fosgate 4 ch amp, Polk DB 6.5 front and 4x6 rears. The sub amp I have is a 2 channel Alpine rated at 350 amps @ 2 ohms. These subs hit very, very hard. Especially my favorite song from Korn "Another brick in the wall" My chest was thumping to the bass and had to turn it down. Rap songs with heavy bass is also impressive for 10" subs. I can not listen to them for longer than one song because my ears start to hurt from the bass. I would recommend these subs to anyone looking for 10's

I bought two of these and poped them in a sealed box and they are the best hitting most accurate subs I have had. They have the perfect amount of heavy thump and sound great weather you listen to heavy metal or the hardest rap songs. And the price is the best part, I recommend getting two of these or more depending on your setup and have them in a sealed box. I powered these two with a 600W profile amp which is the perfect powersetup to get perfect bass.

I just installed two of these subs into my 2005 Ford FiveHundred and they sound great. I really didn't expect the power and force that they produce. I have them in a sealed box hooked up to a 400 watt Alpine amp and they blow my car away. They are great for the price. Easy install, recommend them fully.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

i have had a few fosgate subs so far starting back in 2001 with the paper cone 12"punches i tried the next series(first plastic cone punches) and was disappointed as they blew in the first week . I then got these to replace some dual subs i bought i was so pleased with these thay are better than the 12's i had years ago they hit lower and harder. i originally hada .8 cu sealed box then built a 1.23 cu ported boxper chamber for my 2. they sound much much cleaner and hit harder ported. my demensions were (based on viewing the subs from front) 16 deep 13.5 high and 25.5 wide using 2" sch40 pvc to make the ports. i am gonna buy 2 more and make another box to have 4 in my 86 ford escort hatch econobox

Great fit for a small inclosure

Jim from Independence, KY on 2/4/2008

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The custom box that is under my rear seat for my Quad Cab Dodge pickup is rather restricted on airspace. The Fosgate Subs were the only ones that had a small enough amount of airspace that would work with what I had. I have had a lot of subs from Kickers, Infinity, Kenwwod, Pioneer, MTX and so on, but I have to say these hit as hard as any of those subs. Specially for the money it was well worth it. Any one contiplating ordering these subs will not be sorry. One other thing, Crutchfield was great about my shippment. I had a problem with UPS some how it got lost between there and here. Crutchfield sent me out another set right away. They are the best at customer service. I highly recommend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought four of these for my 2004 xB. I had a custom fiberglass enclosure built for them @ about .7 cu feet per chamber. Wired to small Lightning Audio 250.4, and wired in a series, I hit an amazing 140dB. I recommend these wired in a series and a sealed enclosure. You can beat the price either!

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Don't be scared away by the low cost. If all you need is an entry level sub, then these do great. I have these in my 06' Crew Cab, F-150. I have a custom box built to specs under the rear seat. I would have gone with the entry Kickers, but they required more air space. LITTLE $ & LITTLE SPACE = GOOD FIT. These really do well. I would have given them 3 stars based on sound alone, but they did what I needed them to do. 4 Stars.

Features

Woofer: The cone is constructed of high modulus, thermoformed polypropylene with a parabolic injected molded ABS/Acrylic dustcap. Polypropylene is lightweight and strong, giving the woofer high power handling and low distortion.

High Density Poly-Foam Surround: A high density compressed half-roll sealed poly-foam surround allows Punch woofers to produce a more linear excursion resulting in more bass output.

Parabolic Injection Molded Dustcap: By bonding a ABS/Acrylic parabolic dust cap of equivalent size to the cone body, a balanced geometrical structure is created. This system reduces piston flex and eliminates cone distortion.

Linear Spider: A compliant linear spider made from tear and fatigue resistant poly-cotton improves mechanical stability under high excursion, maintaining consistent excursion characteristics. This eliminates the need for a "break-in period." The spider rests in a vented spider cavity to reduce heat build.

High Temp Voice Coil:  The woofer uses an aluminum 1.5" 6-layer voice coil with a spun-laced Nomex insulating reinforcement collar which offers superior heat dissipation over other commonly used materials. The hard-anodized finish increases the former's strength. These factors combine to improve the overall power handling characteristics of the subwoofer.

Optimized Motor Magnetics: The Punch woofer uses an extended pole piece and bumped backplate design to optimize its performance.

Basket: The Rockford Punch woofer features a sturdy 16-gauge geometrical, compound bend frame for added stability.

Spring Post Assembly: The woofer features a custom insulated/isolated compression input terminal assembly with attached flexible, stitched tinsel lead wires that can withstand extreme duty cycles, fatigue and high current. The heavy-duty 10-gauge nickel spring posts will accept pin connectors and bare wire.

Decorative Ring: For an added decorative look the woofer comes supplied with a PVC decorative ring that mounts over the flange of the woofer. When using the PVC ring the woofer is first mounted into place with four screws and then the ring is set on top the woofer, aligning the final four holes of the woofer with ring. The other four screws are used for these holes to mount the ring and woofer to the enclosure. The decorative ring increases the mounting height of the woofer to 0.769".

Reverse Mounting: The Rockford Punch woofer can be mounted in either direction. The mounting ring that is supplied with the woofer provides and easy and cosmetically finished look regardless of the mounting direction.

Enclosure Compatibility

Recommended Sealed Box Volume: The sealed box sizes recommended by Rockford Fosgate range from 0.5 cu/ft to 0.85 cu/ft. Within this range, the ideal size recommended by Rockford Fosgate is 0.59 cu/ft, so this is the enclosure recommended by Crutchfield.

Recommended Vented Box Volume: The vented box size recommended by Rockford Fosgate is 1.40 cu/ft, so this is the enclosure recommended by Crutchfield. One 3" diameter x 8" long port should be used with the 1.40 cu/ft enclosure.
