I have it in a 2004 Acura TL. I got this set up to replace the Infinity Basslink II that I blew becuase I had to max it out to be satified with it. I have the amp on the factory settings and I am more than happy with the sound. (i wanted an improvement over what I had without have to dynotmat my trunk or loose all my trunk space. My licene plate rattled at first till I "rigged" it. I used 4 guage speaker wire. I never bothered to review a product I bought untill now!!! Was this review helpful? Yes | No 5 out of 5 GREAT for the price Written By Mike, Herriman, UT on Saturday, November 03, 2007 This sub is amazing for a ten inch 200 watt rms sub. I have it hooked up to a mtx x thunder amp that feeds it 210 watts rms. When i first put it in it wasn't very loud at all but after tweaking the amp and breaking it in for about 3 days i really started to crank it and I am very impressed. It sounds like something much bigger than what it is. I had a 700 watt rms component audiobahn sub in my old car with a 735 watt rms kicker amp and it was no doubt louder, but i like the sound of this set up a whole lot better. That other one was almost too loud for me. This is a great sub, I definantly recommend it. Was this review helpful? Yes | No 5 out of 5 Another A++ product from Crutchfield Written By Paul, Omaha, NE on Sunday, September 23, 2007 Wow... Never before have I been so impressed with an online retailer. Delivered 2 days from the date of payment even though I messed up the billing adress twice in a row... fantastic service from Crutchfield, as you all already know. Now for this sub. I have it connected to a bridged 160 watt rms Profile amp, and this thing hits harder than my friends two 12" pioneers with 300 watts going to each speaker... incredible bass! I could not be more impressed, the price is right on this one.. don't miss out! 1 out of 1 people found this helpful Was this review helpful? Yes | No 3 out of 5 Somewhat disappointed Written By Steve, Orange Park, FL on Thursday, September 20, 2007 This box was not what I had come to expect from Rockford Fosgate. The woofer seemed fine, but the box felt quite cheap and thin. Another box I had in the past was much heavier and sounded rock-solid when you hit it, but this box was light, buzzy and sounded hollow. I also didn't like the plastic panels on the ends. I thought it would be an all-wood box with plastic caps over the ends, but no, the end panels themselves are all plastic. I'm not upset because the price was so low, and Crutchfield's service was fantastic as always. But I returned this box so I could get a component style that I can assemble myself in the future. I'm still a satisfied customer, but it's still true you do get what you pay for. 1 out of 1 people found this helpful Was this review helpful? Yes | No 3 out of 5 Rockford.....? I've got two Pioneer 6"x9" speakers in the back and two 5.25" Sony speakers in the front, with this sub in the cargo area(1995 Escort Wagon). The setup is crystal clear when listening to pretty much anything. I listen to all types of music, ranging from The Decemberists to Motorhead to the Gorillaz.
