Perfect Solution

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

After driving a rental with bluetooth music streaming I started looking for options to upgrade the factory stereo in my LR3. After passing on several very expensive options I found this Rockford Fosgate bluetooth adapter. For less than $50 I thought I would give it a try. Turns out to be the best money I've spent. The adapter works perfectly, and the sound is much better than using an aux cord. I couldn't be happier.

Pros: Super easy to set up and use. Connects automatically every time I get in the car.

Cons: None.

Great BUT

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This was the perfect device because my regular option 2008 vehicle did not come with Bluetooth. So this was a great addition to my car, especially for long trips. It was also great to help other passengers with their music preferences.

Pros: Very simple, compact

Cons: None found yet

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I bought this device to replace a damaged HTC 2200 Bluetooth adapter and the Rockford Fosgate RFBTAUX is much better. I like to listen to podcasts I download to my Samsung S4 while driving and this product is perfect. The HTC sticks out from the aux input jack on the radio with is why it was how it was damaged, I had to remember to turn it off when exiting the car, and it was only usable on battery because it has a buzzing sound when plugged into the charger. The Rockford Fosgate RFBTAUX is powered directly off the car battery thus it turns off when the car is shut off. Since it runs off the car power I can use for extended driving, the HTC would die after a few hours. No trouble paring and it has always connected automatically every time I entered the car. No complaints with the audio quality. Audio cable is just the right length for my vehicle.

Pros: Plug in in, pair it and forget it.

Cons: None

Works good

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Once your Bluetooth device connects to it, it works great. On iphone5 I have to go into Settings>Bluetooth>find the "RFBTAUX" device, then go to the little information bubble, forget this device, then it says "RFBTAUX not paired", tap on it to pair & it will connect. This has to be done every time the car is turned off & then back on to reconnect. It would be nice if it would auto connect like my vehicles hands free does, but that's my only con

Pros: Works great once connected Has USB port to charge device

Cons: Doesn't auto connect to Bluetooth, has to be reconnected every time the car gets shut off.
