Important Note: This remote's attached cable is only a foot long so, in most cases, you'll need an extension cable to install it.

Features

Compatibility: The RFXMR7 is a wired marine remote control with an LCD display and capacitive touch-panel buttons that it is compatible with select Rockford Fosgate marine head units (RFX9700CD & RFX3000).

LCD Display: The display briefly shows the volume when it's changed, and can be set to show the time of day or source information; chapter/track, elapsed time, song title (for iPod and CDs with CD Text), band (AM/FM), frequency, and preset number.

Backlit Controls: The RFXMR7 has backlit capacitive touch-panel buttons with the following functions:

  • Power
  • Mode (source)
  • Volume Up/Down
  • Next/Previous Track
  • Mute

Wiring: The attached 12" cable on the RFXMR7 connects to the head unit's proprietary 8-pin remote port. Because the attached cable is only a foot long, in most cases an extension cable will be needed (575RFX16, sold separately).

Durable: The RFXMR7 meets ASTM B117 salt/fog exposure and ASTM D4329 UV exposure standards.

Flush Mount: The remote comes with an aluminum flush mount C-clamp. The clamp attaches to the two M4 machine screw studs on the back of the remote and holds it in place.
