About the Rockford Fosgate RFX6000-SX
A hideaway hub for audio and video
A hideaway hub for audio and video
Sometimes, stowaways are a good thing. Rockford Fosgate designed the RFX6000-SX receiver to give you lots of entertainment options in a marine-rated "black box" that hides away out of sight, giving you access to all the functionality and connectivity you'd ever want from a digital media receiver.
You can check out your local AM/FM radio stations, or connect a music player or thumb drive to the AUX and USB inputs. If you want to enjoy the amazing programming (and clear reception) of SiriusXM satellite radio, all you need is a subscription and a tuner. You'll also find composite video inputs and outputs, so you can play stored movies and other videos through your receiver. You'll need Rockford Fosgate's RFXMR5BB wired remote control (sold separately) to switch sources, control your music, and adjust the tone, balance, and fade controls.
Small footprint, big sound
With front, rear, and sub speaker outputs, you can actually build a pretty nifty system around the RFX6000-SX. Add an RFXBT module (also sold separately) to bring the convenience of wireless Bluetooth connectivity to your boat.
The hideaway design keeps the RFX6000-SX out of the elements, of course, but life on a boat is still a damp, humid place. To ensure all-season reliability, Rockford equips this water-resistant receiver with a conformal coated circuit board, so it will keep you rockin' for years to come.
Bluetooth note: Use of this receiver's Bluetooth features will depend upon your phone's Bluetooth capabilities. Learn more in our article explaining Bluetooth profiles.
iPod/smartphone note: If you're going to use your iPod or smartphone with this receiver, be sure to check "Details" for compatibility information.
