WOW!!!! This sound system works GREAT!! The 4 small speakers have built in wall hookup things, so do the 2 bigger speakers and the center speaker. I guess the only thing you can't hang up is the sub, which by the way is AWESOME. I have no clue why Crutchfield discontinued this amazing system.

This review is for anyone thumbing through the pages of Crutchfield or any other electronics catalog. I have received Crutchfield magazines for as long as I can remember. Even received assistance from an online representative even though at that time I made it clear at that time I was not purchasing from Crutchfield. That said I will say Crutchfield has made a believer out of me!! Their integrity, reputation and customer service is and should be model for other retailers both online and off. The HT-s5100 was my purchase. The only thing I say is that this Home theater system is and AMAZING machine!! I also purchased the Samsung 42 inch plasma which absolutely fits my entertainment room. The room (basement) is an audiophiles dream come true as the room entombs the perfect sound that is emitted from the HT-S5100! I enthusiastically recommend Crutchfield to any consumer seeking advice, information, and eventually a purchase.

I've had this system since last Summer, and the sound quality never ceases to amaze me. I show it to my friends and they're just as blown away.

The Best Home Theater System

I just wanted to let you know that the Onkyo surround home theater system I purchased is the best!!! I have all of my components running through it, Dish Network HD DVR, Toshiba VCR/DVD recorder combo, CD recorder/player, and Nintendo Wii. The owner's manual was very detailed, which made hooking up a breeze. It sounds Great! I helped my brother with his BOSE 321 system last year when bought it, and I can say, for a fraction of what that setup cost, this Onkyo system is much better! The sound is fuller and crisper as opposed to the BOSE which almost sounded too soft and fluffy. I am very pleased!!! It absolutely rocks is really the best way to say it. Oh, and if anybody ask, the AUX port on the front works awesome with my Wii. Especially on Guitar Hero World Tour which has the Dolby Pro Logic II soundtrack. The Onkyo system lets you feel like you are really on stage!!! Thanks again. I will recomend this item to everybody!!
