Tivoli Audio designed their SongBook to be the traveler's friend. This compact AM/FM radio is small enough to slip into your briefcase or travel bag, yet big enough to deliver plenty of smooth, clean mono sound. Its durable, weather-resistant enclosure makes it ideal for both indoor and outdoor use. Five AM and five FM presets give you quick access to your favorite stations. A special switch on the radio lets you tune in AM radio stations while outside the U.S. Sophisticated electronic filters greatly reduce extraneous noise, so the SongBook can give you great FM sound, no matter where you are.
Spending the night? Just press "sleep," and the SongBook automatically turns itself off after 20 minutes. In the morning, you can wake up either to an alarm, or to your favorite station at the volume level you prefer. A keyhole slot on the back of the radio lets you mount it on the wall for a more permanent setup.
There are several ways you can power the SongBook. You can use alkalines, or you can use NiCad or NiMH rechargeables. The supplied AC power cord lets you conserve battery power or even charge optional NiCad or NiMH batteries inside the radio. With a 12-volt adapter (not included), you can plug it into the cigarette lighter of a car, boat or camper. Whether you're going on a picnic or going abroad, the SongBook is the perfect companion.
