Get easy, intuitive control over just about any home theater system with Logitech's Harmony 900. This universal remote combines both IR (infrared) and RF (radio frequency) technology, so you can operate your components even if they're hidden out of sight. The remote's sharp-looking color touchscreen clearly displays common activities, like "watch TV" or "listen to music." When you select an activity, the remote instantly evaluates your system, conveniently turns on or off the appropriate components, and even selects the proper settings for you.
The Harmony 900 emits powerful RF signals for operating components you've placed out of sight. Just plug the included RF extender into a power outlet and stow it behind your hidden components. Then connect the two tiny IR "miniblasters" to the extender, and position them in front of the components. The extender picks up the RF signals sent by the remote and converts them back into IR signals which your devices can understand.
The remote's contoured shape fits naturally in the palm of your hand for comfortable operation. Its sculpted, backlit controls are logically and neatly arranged, so you can find the button you're looking for by feel. Plus, the Harmony 900 features a set of red, blue, green, and yellow buttons that correspond to the colored buttons on most Blu-ray player remotes. Use the convenient docking station to charge the remote, and to keep it in an easy-to-find location.
Harmony's online wizard makes set up a snap. Just plug the remote into your computer with the provided USB cable, visit Harmony's website, and answer some simple questions about your system. That's it — the setup wizard automatically downloads the necessary codes and programs the remote for you. The site remembers your settings, too, so it's easy to reprogram the Harmony 900 later if you change or add components.
Awesome so far worth every penny
Pros: One control for many devices
After years of frustration using 4 different remotes to address TV, sound, cable, & Wii we purchased our Logitech Harmony. It works beautifully and we are very happy! Thank you for suggesting it and sending it out so quickly to us.
Pros: Simplifies our access to technology. Ready help available.
Cons: Needed help setting it up, but we are in our 70's and not as technologically savvy as young people.
I am using this product with a Yamaha A720, Samsung LED 55" TV, Samsung DVD/BD player, Yamaha CD player,(all from Crutchfield) and Time Warner Cable. The web setup took about 10 min. and worked without any problem. After using for about 1 week I set up the blaster. I thought I would have to return the remote because the blaster would not work. I hooked up the power cable to #2 output and every thing is working to perfection.
Pros: Our family has only 1 remote to master and it does not require replacing batteries and keeping up with each component's remote. Our Crutchfield advisor recommended this product and it is a plus for us. Crutchfield delivered in 2 days.at no charge.
Cons: none yet
I could write a lengthy review, but it would be a waste of time for all concerned. I'll just say this: I put off buying one of these for a long time. I wish I hadn't. Good product.
Pros: Online setup and programming is convenient. All of the remotes for my home theater receiver, satellite receiver, Blu-Ray and CD player are now in a drawer. One device controls everything. My wife and daughter appreciate that they no longer require tutorial updates on manipulating various remote controls.
Cons: Be careful when choosing the manufacturer of your various components. To be specific, if you choose Hughes when programming your Direct TV receiver, the remote will not function properly. Even though the Direct TV receivers are manufactured by Hughes, you must choose the Direct TV receiver from the menu or the remote will not function properly. A small glitch, but it can throw you off.
This remote is very easy to use and very easy to set up if you have minimum entry-level personal computer skills, know how to navigate around a Web browser and know what a USB port looks like. After a cursory read through the instructions, I was able to set up my Harmony® 900 Remote for use watching DirecTV®, AppleTV® and my (non-Blu-Ray) Oppo DVD player in about 15 minutes, including manual tweaks, like leaving my 20-year-old+ Yamaha A/V receiver "On." All of my components were in Logitech's online database.
In conclusion, this is a great unit for the money, easy to use, easy to set up, and easy on batteries! Love the color display and, generally speaking, the keypad layouts; I would suggest that the "Mute" and "Jump" buttons could have been larger and/or better placed. I am a frugal shopper, so spending $300 on a remote control is given serious consideration, and I am very happy with my purchase.
Pros: Clear, crisp color display Easy to set up Easy to use Lightweight Easy on batteries Potential for specific component programming (manually)
Cons: This is nitpicking, admittedly, but my preference would be for larger "Mute" and "Jump" buttons.
Read and follow directions and setup is easy. the RF transmitters work great. Every device I hooked up was in the online database. Now when I change functions from watching a movie, to watching a DVD, to listening to music the tuner automatically changes to the proper mode, components that are not required shut off, and it is all done with the push of one button. It does everything I could have asked for with one remete innstead of four.
Pros: compact and easy to work.
Not too complicated to set up if one takes time and reads instructions. I haven't had to use the RF transmitter/receiver components so can't comment on that. Somewhat disappointed that even though my Sony soundbar was in Logitech's database, the volume and mute control keys on the Harmony did not work for the Sony even though other keys did. Had to go in and customize keys for volume and mute to work on the Harmony. Then had to do that for each "activity", "Watch TV", "Play DVD" -- I couldn't customize the volume/mute keys once and have it work on all activities. Still getting used to the Harmony and can't speak to all its features. But, it is good to have one remote instead of one for each system component.
Pros: Nice appearance Compact size
Cons: Didn't program all keys on a compatible system component even though that piece was in Logitech's database.
i finally found a remote that the whole family could use without a 'cheat sheet' laying around, or useing 5 different remotes and getting the setting for different components all screwed up ! the remote is very very easy to use, the setup was not bad, i am not a techy computer guy, just follow the instructions and take your time. it took about an hour, but was pretty painless. the payoff was outstanding. i did read some not so great reviews of the remote and was a little nervous about the purchase, but with crutchfields 60 day like it or return it policy, the choice was easy. again, good product backed by a solid company. thanks
Pros: the RF is included with the remote, and operation is great, setup is easy. works with my TV, blueray/cd, yamaha stereo, x box, and wii.
Cons: have not found any
The remote was easy to set up and works great! No more line of sight problems.
Easy to program, instructions and internet support very user friendly. Price was the cheapest around. The Crutchfield advisor [Steve] was great with helping me on my order.
Pros: Easy to program.
Im a bit surprised with the high reviews. Ive had other Logitech remotes namely the 880 and the 670. I got this one because I needed the RF capability to solve some problems I had with line of sight to the receivers etc. Anyway it didnt take long to figure out that this remote had a couple issues, one it is much slower response than the others. It has limitations that the others dont have like having the ability to create macros. If you have directv there is no direct CC button to program you must make a macro (info, left, left, down, select) - this is not possible on the 900 - all other harmony remotes can do this.. but not this one that costs 3-4 times more. Crazy. Contacted customer support - maybe there is a software update for this.. no response. The remote sometimes freaks out and has battery issues - strange battery icon Ive had to pull the battery a couple times to fix that. Otherwise the other issue is just switching between devices is VERY slow so if I go from AppleTV back to DirectTV and the volume is set to loud on Directv - you have to wait several seconds before you can turn it down. Ehhh just disappointed. The RF works fine 95% of the time. I did have one time that the RF base had to be reset for no reason. Ive heard the harmony 1 is better but I dont know. Would buy something else if given the choice. Also I hate the fact that I have a remote like the 880 setup with my devices and I cant just replace the remote with this one so complete reprogram.
Cons: Slow to switch between devices No Macro support (harmony 880s and 670s can do this for much lower cost) Much higher cost Flakey battery I dont like the beep that it makes when switching activities Bad customer support - no response from vendor on my inquires
I've wanted all my equipment hidden for a long time, but had a hard time justifying the cost of an rf remote...so happy i finally did, works flawlessly and don't have to look at everything anymore! Well worth the money!
Excellent product. Takes more than an hour to set up if you have multiple devices to control because you have to customize the remote for each of your remote controls. The learn function did not work well for me at all, but the customize the buttons worked perfectly, but it took a long time to customize the harmony for each remote. Many hours. Once you spend the time to customize the remote, you have total control of all your devices and it is a wonderful product. You must read the manual. I had one glitch in which apple tv would show up in an activity that I did not want it involved in and I could not get apple tv to go away, but it did not adversely affect the functioning of the activity. Great product, very expensive.
Good product. Software is outdated and needs to be rewritten to keep pace with competing phone apps. The unit does not have as much functionality as advertised, especially with high-end receivers. The system will not disappoint if you set expectations relatively low.
Pros: Good basic functionality.
Cons: Tech support, programming software.
It took me less than 30 minutes to set up and program this remote for 5 devices, and that includes the RF interface. My last remote was a Universal branded programmable remote that was far more trouble to program than it was worth. My wife finally destroyed it ( on purpose I suspect), so I reviewed and purchased the Harmony 900. You must be somewhat computer literate to set it up, but it's worth it. The touchscreen control quickly allows you to turn on the appropriate devices with a single action. Honestly it was easier to program than I had expected. I suspect that there are many advanced features that I haven't yet programmed, but very happy so far.
Pros: Easy to set up.
Cons: None so far
Finally a remote that even my wife is happy with ! It does everything with the touch of a button/icon. Superb support line can solve problems easily, but the online software setup is easy to use too. Don't be afraid to give it a try.
This remote works well and does what it should do in-terms of combining several remotes into one. It also can create a basic macro (Logictech calls a macro an "activity") It would be nice if you had more control over the activities function and get a little more in depth with them but the function works well. One of the reason I gave this a product a three star review is because you can not run the software on Mac OS 10.7. This Harmony software does not work on a 64 bit Mac OS. You would think that logictech would make sure their software would work on the newest of software from Mac. There may be fewer mac users than PC users in this world but we do tend update and intergrate our systems with the newest of new technology. I did eventually run windows 7 on my mac and was able to program my remote flawlessly.
Pros: I don't see any pros for this remote. it does what it is built to do and it does that ok...
Cons: Does not work with Mac OS 10.7. or 64 bit machines.
I had a Harmony One and loved it for the first 2 years, then it just died. Then got a cheaper universal remote that drove me nuts, so I'm trying the 900. So far it's been pretty easy. I do like that it's also RF. Now I just need to figure out which ones I want to run off of IR and which on RF. I wish Crutchfield's offered the SquareTrade extended warranty on this device, given what happened to my last Harmony remote, but you can get it directly from them.
Pros: Easy setup & to make changes. RF capability
Cons: Been trying to go into the advanced set up again, and can't find my way back.
I received this remote as a birthday present last year. This is hands-down the best universal remote I've ever had. The "activities" functions make it easy to use for my girlfriend and other's that are not good with technology and it's fairly easy to set up. Overall I would recommend this product to anyone in the market for a higher end universal remote.
Pros: Ease of use and versatility.
Cons: Pricey and setting up the favorite's icons is a little overly complicated.
Horrible experience with setup. Previously owned Harmony One with no trouble. Just received another Harmony one after no problem return at Crutchfield. Excellent experience with Crutchfield. No problems whatsoever with the new Harmony One.
The Harmony 900 is pricey, but it delivers. The initial setup is fairly easy depending on what you want your remote to do; it took me a little while (and some "tweeking") to get the remotes soft buttons to allow certain device functions that I used on the individual manufacturers remotes. The backlight function is a nice feature and pretty much activates by merely picking up the remote. The help menu is extremely convenient and comes in handy should one of the devices not operate properly.
Pros: Very easy to use; perfect for the wife and kids!
Cons: A bit pricey.
Upgraded from one of the original web-based Harmonies, which by the way still works fine. But I wanted touch screen to select activities and more customization. This remote has it all. Almost went for the big-dog 1100 but I'm glad now that I settled on the 900. The RF to IR adapters included with the 900 are awesome but adding them to the 1100 puts you in at about $500 total! No more open cabinet doors and worrying about line of sight. Sweet! Setup was very straightforward for me because I'm already familiar with the Harmony software. Don't be intimidated if you're a newby, though. Step-by-step instructions are crystal clear and will have you up and running in no time. Great product. 2 weeks in and not a single issue. I've got the PS3 adapter as well and it's the same no-hassle, bug-free setup and operation. The PS3 adapter seems a little pricey to me but if you really want just one remote that does it all you kinda gotta have it. You won't be disappointed with this remote. Good job, Logitech.
Pros: It works!
This is the first universal remote control that I have purchased that actually works. The set up process at first looks somewhat overwhelming. After gathering the model numbers and initiating the programming process, it became clear that the hard work has already been done. For example, when entering a make and model for a component, the screen provides an example of the format the model number should take. That provided comfort that the correct numbers were used. The most confusing aspect of the programming is the assignment of inputs and outputs. I made a couple of errors in the initial set up, but they were easily corrected.
This is a great product and I am preparing to purchase a second unit for our other television.
Pros: I have multiple vintages of electronics associated with our television. After gathering the components model numbers, truly the hardest part of the process, I logged into the Logitech website and the hand held was programmed. Now I have one, not four remotes controlling our AV center. A single control allows basic on/off function, but also volume, channel, and other functions historically only controllable using the factory remote.
Cons: After beginning the process of uploading the commands to the remote, a screen message stated that the DeskTop Messenger is not compatible with the Microsoft 2010 software. It would be nice to know compatibility issues up front. (searching the internet revealed no "fix"foor the issue.
Bought to replace older version. Needed IR function as equipment is located in a closet downstairs. This is our third remote in 6 years. Original "custom" was the "bat wing" $1,200 Universal remote that I always had to call for service to make any changes. Then we switched to Harmony 800 series, which worked well, but it was time for a replacement due to normal wear and tear. New 900 series model was MUCH easier to install, especially the IR blaster. Old model, both the remote and the blaster had to be hooked up to the PC to sync. My PC is on the 2nd floor, the Audio closet in the basement... so lots of stairs last time. This one only the remote has to sync, the blaseter "just works" and did not have to hook up with little adhesive contacts to each unit. One blaster is working all equipment in the closet. The 900 is much easier to set up and has room for 24 icons. Downloaded icons / images for channels from www.iconharmony.com. Easy and made donation for freeware. Well worth it! Only "hickup" was that I could not just upgrade/transfer equipment settings from the old remote for equipment set up. (I probably missed a step in set up) Had to create new User ID and rebuild from scratch. Overall, a heack of a lot better that the "old days"! Enjoy! The price is a bargin for what you get and as always, Crutchfield service cannot be beat - Thanks!
Works better than anticipated. Very cool. Very easy to set up and operate.
My wife is not mad at me for spending money on a remote that can do it all. Logitech 900 with RF you rock!
I couldn't get the computer to recognize the remote on my IMac using Snow Leopard. Going to the Logitech site they acknowledge that the software isn't compatible with the latest two versions of Mac OS. They suggest a work around of running the computers in 32 bit mode which I tried with no luck. Finally, I loaded the software on an old Windows laptop which allowed me to set up the remote. This is my third Harmony remote, and as far as features, it does a great job. I'm upset that a company like Logitech doesn't provide software which is works with contemporary operating systems, and then to compound the situation there is nothing in the start up guide that highlights this issue. Shame on you Logitech!
I replaced a Logitech 880 with the 900 because my new DirecTV receiver had some commands that I preferred to be on hard keys rather than soft keys. The 900 is comfortable to hold but is a little long so using the touch screen is sometimes a two hand operation. I would also liked to have had a "list" button as a hard key in the middle of the remote since I used the recorded list of shows fairly frequently. The RF to IR works beautifully, although the rumor is that it has limited range, but in my home use that has never been an issue. The software is reasonably good and isn't terribly hard to use but it does take a good while to get everything configured perfectly. All in all, I think the 900 may be the best remote available for the more complex AV scenarios.
Excellent product. no hassle integration of remotes. Could use a instruction manual hardcopy instead of of online..
I just set up this unit and I'm amazed at how well it works, and I haven't even got to the RF part yet.
This product is great and has lived up to everything that's previously been said
about it. It's easy to operate and easy to program. I only recently purchased it but
so far I have no complaints. It's easy to recommend this remote.
No longer do I have five remotes on the table. Remolded the house and put all the
components forty feet away behind a door. My installer was talking about a remote based on
the I-Pad or I-Touch but that required special programming and lots of money. I took a
chance on this and am very happy.
It works great but what I am really satisfied with is the support. I called on a Saturday around
1 pm, after I had gotten it to about the 60% working level. The first person helped me solve
some problems and wanted to stay on the line until I got everything ready but I felt guilty about
taking so much time. An hour later I called back and they figured out that I had done
something wrong and sent me new codes, which I update my remote with and everything
worked. This included a JVC DV/DVD burner/HD unit that is not normally a consumer
product. I wish all support was this good.
Performs just as described. I placed all components in closet in another room, ran
wires through wall and plugged them in. Installed battery in remote, logged into
Harmony website, entered component information, rebooted remote, set blasters in
closet....worked first try. I have several Harmony remotes, they work well, easy set-up,
etc. The life span is somewhat short lived from what I've seen in past....3-4 years and
they just stop performing well.
Harmony 900 was easy to set up... up and running in minutes from unpacking. No issues in
performance (after one month) and works well with components behind cabinet doors 22
feet away. The help menu is good when setting up the remote. Battery life is several days...
typical of a cell phone battery charge. I had a good conversation with Crutchfield via the
phone before buying that helped me decide on which remote to purchase. Remote arrived
promptly after ordering. Also ordered the PS3 adapter to use with the remote, again the set
up was easy and worked the first time. Do follow the instructions that come with remote and
This product is an excellent addition to any home entertainment system. User-friendly
displays and software allow for ease of use in both nominal and off-nominal equipment
configurations. The Harmony is easily configured to accomodate a large and diverse
collection of equipment without much effort.
ez programing with computer ez to add equipment works great
Harmony 900 works as easily has the Harmony One, which I also have. Set up was
simple and took me 30 minutes. It is very easy to use and a great solution for too many
remotes for devises hidden behind cabinets. There are a few short coming. My
Harmony One did a good job of muting my Pioneer Elite plasma TV if I wanted to watch
a movie using the stereo. The Harmony 900 does not do that with my new Panasonic
plasma. Advanced controls, such as internet access for movie streaming etc, are more
complicated. The step by step programming software does not contemplate internet
access on a TV. I need to grab the TV remote for those functions. Also Logitech
software does not anticipate anyone to have 2 remotes, so you need to create a
separate login. This make the process more cumbersome. And there is no real
customer support - only FAQ section.
I ordered this remote after confirmation from Crutchfield and from Logitech published information that the RF remote was compatible with home automation systems such as Insteon remote control lighting systems. While the remote functions as advertised with the IR blaster and IR extenders, this remote only controls the IR blaster or Infared receivers. After learning the truth thru the Logitech technical support desk and explaining my findings with Crutchfield, I was given the option of a refund or discounted price to retain the Harmony 900. I choose to keep the Harmony 900 for the features it was designed for. I like these functions, but I was very disappointed to receive a product that didn't deliver all features promised, especially after confirmations received.
I had this remote for 24 hours until the RF blaster stopped working. This thing worked like a champ right out of the box yesterday, today I got home and nothing controlled by the blaster is working. Yesterday was a 5 star review, today it is negative 5. I don't have the time to wait on hold just to do more Level 2 testing so I am very unhappy with this remote and Logitech right now.
Worked as advertised. Extremely easy to program if your equipment is wired
normally but can also accommodate a mix of old and new equipment wired in a
custom fashion (my situation). One limitation I found - you can only program
multiple commands in sequence (macros) as part of an "activity." While you can
custom program one command for one component using the hard and soft keys, you
can't program multiple commands for a button you could press once you are in an
"activity." You can get around this by adding additional activities, but then
it potentially confuses spouses and young children. In my opinion it's better
to keep the number activites low for those users who didn't program it and don't
understand what it is doing.
It would be great if there was a way to get to the command line language and
really customize it and not have to deal with the gui all the time, but so far I
have not found a way. I suspect this issue would impact way less than 1% of
potential users. Plus, if it had this, I'd end up spending way to much time on
it anyway, and everybody in the family loves it the way it is.
I really expected to be messing with it all night to get it programed! It only took 45 minutes and we even created custom soft buttons for our DVR. The price is a little nuts but the product is awesome so far..
We purchased the Harmony 900 to control the equipment in our home theater.
The equipment list couldn't be more diverse: Sony 42" plasma; Motorola set top box; Bose Lifestyle DVD/Audio and Samsung Blu-Ray.
Had my 18 yr old son commission the Logitech and within 15 minutes everything worked per plan. I like the idea of coupling devices to activities.
The form and fit factor are also a plus and get high marks in my book.
Logitech really cooked up a winning design. Bravo!
This remote is really terrific, except for the price. However, the wife has been buggin me
about getting the blue ray player and Cable-DVR setup off the self in the great room,
so.... what price marital bliss?? Anyway, this thing now automatically turns on and
controlls everything and I am overall very happy with it. Here is why it gets 4 stars and
not 5: A. Price - costs too much. ouch. B. The instructions are sketchy. I was going to
send it back because I didn't realize you could program any of the keys to control any
function - because you don't want to go to the soft key pages for frequently used
functions - I had to kind of search the web to get clued into that. Oh yeah, it also helped
to download the manual from the CD and it is in their, but you gotta look.(note that
crutchfiel is great and they authorized the return no fuss no muss altho I had already set
it up, etc). So I did NOT return it once I figured it all out. C. The RF function takes some
getting used to as it seems you've got to press the keys with more that just the quick tap
you're used to with the IR functions which are perfect. At some point I'll call crutchfield to
see if there's a way to improve that in the set up, but we're all getting used to it and it is
not a big deal, but drops it to a 4 star. ALB
I bought this remote thinking it would replace all of my remotes and it does that but I am starting to think this was a real mistake. Programming the remote via my laptop is really easy and I do like the interface. I use the remote to control all different kinds of equipment from Samsung, Denon, Mitsubishi, DirectTV, Sony and Xbox 360 and it works well. So why my bad rating? The range really stinks. I could understand if I was trying to control something on another floor of the house but the equipment I'm trying to control is located is only 15 feet from where I sit and still half the time the receiving unit doesn't get the signal. Logitech does have firmware updates and I'm hoping that one will actually address this issue. If you search the web you will find this complaint to be VERY common with this product. My suggestion is save your money on this item until this range issue is resolved.
Just got this thing and it took just under 10 minutes to load the software and then program
the controller to work with my entire system! Even my wife things it's a BREEZE to use. The
touchscreen is very sensitive and all the buttons work. When one didn't, it asks me "Did
everything work?" and when I hit the "No" button, it tried it again and presto change'o - it
works now! I've had a Marantz touchscreen for almost 10 years and had to hire someone to
program it. This is SOOOO much better working and infinitely easier to work with. Yeah, it
costs a bit much, but it is worth every dime so far.
All I can say about this is remote is that it is perfect. I just built a home theater with a projector. All the components are located behind me. The remote has IR and RF so you can point it anywhere and it will work. It even has bluetooth. These guys thought about everything when designing this remote. Worth twice the money.
Overview: The Harmony 900 Advanced Universal Remote provides simple, intuitive control of even the most elaborate entertainment system for anyone in the family. The remote setup is accomplished through Harmony's interactive web site. The Harmony 900 Remote can control up to 15 devices, including home automation devices such as light and climate controllers.
Setup: The Harmony Remote Activities are configured through unique Web Wizard tools on HarmonyRemote.com. Using Logitech's Smart State Database of over 225,000 electronic devices from over 5,000 manufacturers, you can easily customize the remote to your system. The database, together with IR learning, ensures support of all infrared-controlled devices made by any manufacturer, including Televisions, A/V Receivers, Cable/Satellite Boxes, VCRs, DVD Players, CD Players, Game Consoles, Mini Systems, Computers, and Home Automation devices.
Wireless RF Connection: The Harmony 900 provides wireless RF connection so there is no need to aim your remote directly at your components, allowing you to even control devices that you keep behind closed cabinet doors and walls (up to 100 feet away). The remotes wireless RF connection is easy to install. The Harmony 900 comes supplied with an IR blaster and two IR blaster extenders that are placed by components you want to control. The Harmony 900 remote sends RF signals to the IR blaster which then turns the remotes RF signals into IR commands that your devices can understand.
Full-Color Touch Screen: The Harmony 900's full-color touch screen gives you easy, one-touch access to any entertainment activity such as watching a DVD, watching TV, or listening to music.
Sculpted Backlit Buttons: The Harmony 900's sculpted backlit buttons allow you to easily operate the remote in the dark, while its ergonomic design allows the unit to fit comfortably in your hand.
One-Touch Operation: The Harmony 900 uses Activity Control to give you one-touch control of your entertainment system. You can use one of the touch-screen's Activity buttons to power on your TV, DVD player, A/V receiver, set all your inputs and even activate play without having to program time consuming macros. Once all of your equipment is "on", the buttons on the remote are also automatically configured for the appropriate operation.
Red/Blue/Green/Yellow Buttons: The remote includes the four "color" buttons (Red, Green, Blue, and Yellow) that correspond to the same buttons found on Blu-Ray player remote controls. These buttons are short cuts for selecting items on some Blu-Ray disc menus. They can also be used for BD-Java interactive operations.
System Off: One push of the off button turns off all the equipment in your system.
Help: If you have a problem completing an activity function, the help button will guide you through the fix using the interactive multi-color display. The remote will ask a series of questions, such as "Is the TV on?" or "Is the volume turned up?" in order to troubleshoot the problem and correct it.
Flash Memory: The settings are stored in a non-volatile flash memory so they will never be lost, even when the battery needs charging.
Lithium-Ion Battery/Recharging Docking Station: The Harmony 900 includes a removable rechargeable Lithium-ion battery, which provides up to a one-week charge under normal use. The remote comes with a docking station that keeps the remote fully charged. Because the docking station is horizontal, it allows the remote to be used while charging.
