The Logitech Harmony 350 lets you get rid of coffee table clutter by replacing the functions of up to eight remotes. This ergonomically designed remote is not only easy to use, it's easy to set up as well.

Easy setup

You can control up to 8 devices with the Harmony 350 remote. The system works with over 5,000 brands and 225,000 entertainment devices, including lighting controls, game consoles, multi-room systems, and more.

To get started, just download the free MyHarmony software to your Mac or PC. Then connect the remote to it via the provided USB cable. MyHarmony will help you program your remote by asking some simple questions about your system and how you use it. It then downloads the commands and command sequences to your Harmony 350, and you're done. And you can use MyHarmony to update your remote whenever you upgrade your system with new gear.

One-touch TV control

The Harmony 350 features a yellow “Watch TV” button. Press it, and the remote automatically assesses the status of your TV, receiver, cable or satellite box and makes sure they're all turned on with the proper settings. Presto! Your system's ready for TV viewing. A great feature for houseguests and babysitters.

Product Research

Features

Universal Remote Control: The Harmony 350 is a universal IR remote control which combines up to 8 remotes into 1 simple controller. Control your TV, cable or satellite box, DVR, Blu-ray player, sound system, and more from this one remote control.

Desktop Software Setup: The Harmony 350 is programmed by connecting the universal remote to your laptop or desktop computer using the supplied USB cable, and downloading the MyHarmony desktop software. The MyHarmony desktop software will guide you through entering the manufacturer and model numbers of your home devices so the Harmony 350 understands how to control them. It then helps you create your Watch TV Activity (or scene) for one-button control.

Note: The Harmony database has over 270,000 electronic devices (and growing) from over 6,000 manufacturers. Click here to check compatibility with specfic devices.

System Requirements: In order to use the MyHarmony desktop software your computer will need to meet the following system requirements:

  • Windows-based PC:
    • Microsoft Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista
    • USB type-A port
    • Internet access
  • Intel-based Mac Computer:
    • Macintosh OS X 10.6 or later
    • USB type-A port
    • Internet access

Infrared (IR): The Harmony 350 controls your devices using infrared (IR) light meaning that there must be a direct line of sight between the Harmony remote and your component's IR eye or external IR receiver. The remote has an IR transmission range of up to 50'.

One-Touch Activity Control: The Harmony 350 remote allows you to create a single Watch TV Activity that will power on the required devices and, if possible, set them to the correct inputs. It will also power off all your devices with one button press.

Note: To help keep the Harmony 350 in sync with your devices, avoid turning your television, set top box, and other devices on and off manually or by using their original remote control.

Favorite Channels: The Harmony 350 allows you to assign your Favorite Channel number to a button on the remote so you may easily tune to that station. The Harmony 350 may have up to 5 Favorite Channels assigned to the 1-5 buttons.

Button Customization: The Harmony 350 allows you to customize what each of the physical buttons on the remote do, and each of these customizations are unique for every Activity. For example; you may want the Channel Up button to change channels on your set top box when watching TV, but have the Channel Up button tune to different stations with Listening to Radio using your stereo.

More Controls: With the Harmony 350 universal remote control you can easily access guides, menus, and recorded programs; as well as control playback, with dedicated buttons.

Battery Powered: The Harmony 350 universal remote control is powered by two "AA" batteries (included).

Q
What universal remote will work a rotel rsx1067?

I don't own that particular model so I couldn't answer that for you. All I know is that the model that I do own does not control the volume on my Samsung blu-ray player, my only dislike about it ...
juan  Jun 30, 2017
A
I'm not sure about this one. I bought it as a replacement remote for a 2001 Nakamichi AV8 receiver, primarily for volume control. It works great for that but eats batteries fast. I have not bothered to program all of the other functions because volume and on/off is all I need it for. Crutchfield typically has a great return policy so it might be worth taking the chance.

Thanks for your question. The 350 and the 650 are identical in size. Hope that helps.

Q
will this remote, control JBL SB200 sound bar ?
daniel  Sep 22, 2015

A
I don't havea sound bar, but this remote was the most difficult to program of any Harmony remote I have owned.
kevin  Sep 24, 2015
A
Id say yes. It literally can control anything. It controlled a Bose speaker dock a ps4,a song soundbar,a Phillips soundbar. You plug it in to laptop and just search for you items through the program that pops up and select them. So easy.

Nope, I wish it did, I also have one in the same room as my home theater;(
daniel  Feb 02, 2015

Yes, when setting up the remote for apple tv, look for the device under this category tree: Remote setting: Computer-> Media Center PC -> Apple -> Apple TV
chris  Feb 02, 2015
A
I haven't attempted to link them.
andrew  Feb 02, 2015

You will want to contact an Advisor by phone (1-800-324-9695) or online chat to discuss compatibility with the Apple TV. If it is not, then they will also be able to discuss other options with you.

Q
Does this remote control allow you to access different stereo input sources on a receiver?? Does it allow you to access the hidden menus on a modern receiver??
steve  Dec 15, 2014

A
Yes it can! I can't say enough great things. You just write down your model numbers and plug remote into laptop and follow the instructions. So simple. Just this week I added a Sony sound bar and it integrated so easy and I can get to all of its settings menus.
erik  Dec 16, 2014
A
You can assign 8 devices to 4 buttons that you activate with either a short or long press. The buttons are pre-labeled TV-Audio, Cable-PC, AVR/Game, and DVD/Music so you'll have to remember and interpret your own assignments. I'm a component system newbie but it seems that given Logitech's vast device database (it even found and applied controls to an old VCR) what the system does is find the devices you entered (by brand and model #) and then find and list every control. Not all are *assigned*; some buttons remain open. You can also reassign buttons that Logitech has assigned by default. Whether or not this applies to causing receiver menus to appear I cannot say offhand as my intrinsic knowledge of this scene doesn't go that deep.

Q
Does this remote work through a cabinet?
zachary  Nov 20, 2014
6 answers
A
A glass cabinet door, absolutely. A wood cabinet door that is closed. Probably not. No remote will. Logitech does sell a small extender sensor though that you could mount to the bottom of your tv, etc. Then it should work.
chris  Nov 21, 2014
A
I would say no to a wooden cabinet. This is an infrared remote that needs line of sight. It should have no problem with glass doors.
david  Nov 21, 2014
A
Not definatively sure it does, however I have a cable box hidden behind a dresser that is hooked up to the bedroom tv and it works flawlessly!
ben  Nov 21, 2014
A
No. Sometimes you have to press the button multiple time before the power comes on.
andrew  Nov 21, 2014
A
If this remote does not have a direct line of sight, it does not work well. I have not tried it in a cabinet, but I assume it probably wouldn't work well. I'd pony up for the nicer one that works via wireless router if your devices are compatible.
paul  Nov 21, 2014
A
It's IR, so there needs to be glass doors. Won't work through solid doors as far as I know.
