Features
Overview: The Harmony One Advanced Universal Remote provides
simple, intuitive control of even the most elaborate entertainment system for
anyone in the family. The remote setup is accomplished through Harmony's
interactive web site. The Harmony One Remote can control up to 15 devices,
including home automation devices such as light and climate controllers.
Setup: The Harmony Remote Activities are configured through
unique Web Wizard tools on HarmonyRemote.com. Using Logitech's Smart State
Database of over 225,000 electronic devices from over 5,000 manufacturers, you
can easily customize the remote to your system. The database, together with IR
learning, ensures support of all infrared-controlled devices made by any
manufacturer, including Televisions, A/V Receivers, Cable/Satellite Boxes, VCRs, DVD Players,
CD Players, Game Consoles, Mini Systems, Computers,
and Home Automation devices.
Full-Color Touch Screen: The Harmony One's full-color touch screen
gives you easy, one-touch access to any entertainment activity such as watching
a DVD, watching TV, or listening to music.
Sculpted Backlit Buttons: The Harmony One sculpted backlit buttons
allow you to easily operate the remote in the dark, while its ergonomic design
allows the unit to fit comfortably in your hand.
Lithium-Ion Battery/Recharging Docking Station: The Harmony
One Pro includes a removable rechargeable Lithium-ion battery, which provides up
to a one-week charge under normal use. The remote comes with a docking station
that keeps the remote fully charged. Because the docking station is horizontal,
it allows the remote to be used while charging.
Learning Function: In addition to the devices which can be
entered using the web interface, this remote can also learn most functions of
other infrared remotes.
One-Touch Operation: The Harmony One uses Activity Control
to give you one-touch control of your entertainment system. You can use one of
the touch-screen's Activity buttons to power on your TV, DVD player, A/V
receiver, set all your inputs and even activate play without having to program
time consuming macros. Once all of your equipment is "on", the buttons on the
remote are also automatically configured for the appropriate operation
Help: If you have a problem completing an activity function,
the help button will guide you through the fix using the interactive multi-color
display. The remote will ask a series of questions, such as "Is the TV on?" or
"Is the volume turned up?" in order to troubleshoot the problem and correct it.
Flash Memory: The settings are stored in a non-volatile
flash memory so they will never be lost, even when the battery needs charging.
System Off: One push of the off button turns off all the
equipment in your system.
