Overview: The Belkin WeMo LED Lighting Starter Kit consists of two Smart LED light bulbs and the WeMo Link wireless controller. The WeMo Link can control up to 50 Smart LED bulbs, individually or in a group, through your existing home Wi-Fi network and your smartphone or tablet.

WeMo Link: The WeMo Link is a small module that can turn on/off or dim the Smart LED light bulbs via Wi-Fi. It should be plugged into a centrally-located AC outlet in your home. You can use your smartphone to be sure you have at least two bars of Wi-Fi signal at that location.

Smart LED Bulbs: The WeMo Smart LED bulbs have a brightness of 800 lumens, which is equivalent to a traditional 60-watt incandescent bulb. It consumes only 10 watts of energy, and produces very little heat. It has a warm light output of 3000K to produce a pleasant light for your home. Based on 3 hours of daily usage, the Smart LED bulbs have a life expectancy of up to 23 years.

WeMo App: The WeMo App, available via free download, can control all WeMo products from anywhere on your smartphone or tablet. Through the app, you can set up lighting schedules for individual Smart LED light bulbs, or a group of bulbs. You can schedule your lights to turn on or off at specific times, either for convenience or security. When you want to create a specific mood, you can dim or brighten the lights on command. The dim-to-sleep feature can gradually dim the lights until they are completely off. This creates a calming mood so you can fall asleep more naturally. In addition to lighting, the WeMo app can control other WeMo products, such as the WeMo Switch, WeMo Motion, or We-Mo Insight Switch. The WeMo app is available on the Apple App Store, and is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch running iOS 7.0 or later. It is also available on Google Play for Android devices running version 4.0 and up, and Kindle Fire (3.0 and higher).

Other Lighting Solutions: The WeMo LED Lighting Starter Kit is compatible with more than just the included Smart LED light bulbs. Other compatible bulbs include: Tunable bulbs, Flexible LED lights, and Gardenspot Mini RGB lights from Osram Lightify, and Daylight LED, Soft White LED, and Soft White Retrofit LED bulbs from TCP.
