Get more out of your Python or Viper security system with XpressKit accessories. These handy add-ons let you incorporate luxury, security and convenience features into your vehicle.

The 508D Double-Guard proximity sensor triggers your alarm when a high-density object, like a hand or a tool, enters the cabin of your vehicle. You can set this sensitive dual-zone sensor to trigger a chirp when someone enters a warning zone just outside your vehicle, then to trigger a full alarm response when the second inner zone is violated. You'll enjoy an extra measure of protection when your alarm is armed.

Python recommends the 508D sensor to protect convertibles. You can set the sensor to chirp when somebody touches the top, and to trigger the alarm when somebody enters the vehicle with the top down. Warranty: 1 year.

Note: If you know how to use a multimeter and have experience working with your vehicle's electrical system, you should be able to install this car security equipment. If you're unfamiliar with installing car security equipment, please call 1-888-955-6000 to discuss your purchase with one of our Advisors.

Product Research

Features

Overview: The 508D Dual Zone Motion Sensor used an ultra-high frequency field to detect objects of sufficient mass which move within a defined area. The 508D triggers the first stage output if an object is detected in the outer zone of coverage, while the second stage output is triggered if the inner zone is violated.

Dual Zone Protection: The 508D Dual Zone Motion Sensor protects the exterior and interior of your vehicle by establishing two security perimeters for your vehicle. If the exterior perimeter is violated, your security system will chirp toward away the potential intruder. A violation of the interior perimeter will trigger your alarm's full siren. This type of protection is ideal for convertible vehicles.

Sensitivity Adjustments: The 508D features adjustable sensitivity controls for both the interior and exterior zones to provide the necessary coverage for your type of vehicle.

Mounting: The 508D should be placed as close as possible to the center line of the vehicle. The unit's integrated mounting tabs should be to the front and the rear of the vehicle, but the orientation of the wire-socket end is not a factor. Also, the 508D is not sensitive to being placed directly onto metal

Wiring: The 508D comes supplied with a 4-pin harness which connects between the dual zone motion sensor module and your vehicle's alarm module.

complicated to add but no impossible this sensor have two triggers mode, green(-) wire warn-away output, and the blue(-) wire second stage trigger out put, (full trigger, is designed to install in directed products.to add in you system you need two (-) trigger input available in you alarm, the CA1055 have only one you can add this sensor and the tilt sensor too, but you need rectifiers (1 amp diode) to separate the signal from the wire sensors. you system probably have available this wire from the 6 wires harness, the BLUE wire (trunk pin input /-/) this is a full trigger input . wen the sensor detect some activity, probably activate the alarm fully, you can connect the wires in this sensor in this order. RED(+) 12 volt constant fused, BLACK (-) ground-when-armed to the ORANGE wire in you alarm (armed output -) And the Green or blue from the sensor to the BLUE (-trunk pin input) but this wire is used o connected in you car, you need add the rectifiers and that can be hard to add, ( you need to learn the orientation of the diode in the wires), yes is possible,
