The XpressKit 515R Revenger® siren provides extra protection for your car with innovative anti-theft features. If a thief cuts off power to your armed alarm by cutting the wire to your car battery, your siren will trigger, and won't shut off until you unlock it with the included siren key.

The 6-tone alarm can be tailored to make your siren really stand out from the pack, and you can adjust the volume of your command confirmation chirps. The siren is equipped with a 9-volt backup battery, which recharges while you're driving. Warranty: 1 year

Features

Overview: The DEI 515R is a battery back-up siren. The siren is equipped with a 9-volt backup battery, which recharges while you're driving. If the power to your armed alarm is cut at your vehicle's battery, the 515R siren will trigger and will continue to sound until you shut it off by inserting one of the included siren keys. The siren features 6-tones, which can be tailored to make your siren identifiable. You can also adjust the volume of the siren's command confirmation chirps.

Connections: The 515R features a 5' Power, Ground, Siren Input leads.

Red (+) 12V Constant: Connect to a fused source of constant 12-volt. Be sure to connect this wire to a source capable of handling the required current draw, such as the ignition harness or the battery.
Black (-) Chassis Ground: Connect this wire to a paint-free surface on the vehicle chassis. Use a factory bolt if possible.
Violet (+) Siren Input: Connect this wire to the positive siren output of your security system. If using a DEI security system, this would b the brown positive siren output wire.
Green (-) Siren Input: If using a security system with a negative siren output, connect this wire to the system's siren output.

Note: It is only necessary to use the violet or the green wire, not both.

Mounting: The 515R comes supplied with a mounting bracket which allows you to angle and position the the siren within your engine compartment.
