Our take on the XpressKit DLPKCG1 by Crutchfield's Ken Nail
XpressKit modules work with your vehicle's anti-theft system to incorporate the convenience, security and luxury features of your Python alarm system.
An XpressKit interfaces with vehicles using an "immobilizer" key system, allowing you to remote start a car without disrupting factory-installed anti-theft features. It routes commands through your vehicle data system, so it's more secure. You have fewer wires to connect and, best of all, your extra key stays with you, not in your car.
Use the DLPKCG1 to allow remote start in select 2003-up Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep vehicles equipped with a 2nd generation Sentry Key immobilizers or new style hybrid Passlock (resistance) and Passkey 3+ type anti-theft system. The compact module comes with harnesses and a built-in transponder data interface port.

Overview: The DLPKCHG1 is a combination kit which features an upgradeable door lock and alarm interface section, plus an integrated 1st generation Chrysler Sentry Key transponder bypass. Designed to operate with Chrysler, Dodge, or Jeep vehicles, this kit combines upgradeable data bus door lock and alarm interface technology with Chrysler's 1st generation Sentry Key transponder to bypass the factor immobilizer when remote starting. The DLPKCHG1 includes a D2D (data-to-data) port for internet upgrades and firmware changes as well as enhanced vehicle interface functionality and security with D2D compatible remote starter systems. Remote control systems that are D2D enabled can securely communicate with the DLPKCHG1 to transmit and receive data commands which initiate specific vehicle functions such as door lock/unlock, immobilizer override, and/or request information from the vehicle such as status of entry points (doors, hood, and trunk). With D2D, the system will even detect if the factory remote transmitter is being used and synchronizes the arming and disarming of both the factory system as well as the aftermarket remote start/alarm system.
Compatibility: The DLPKCHG1 is compatible with the following Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep vehicles.
|Pacifica (2003-2004)||Caravan (2004, 2005, 2007)||Liberty (2005-2007)|
|Town & Country (2004-2007)||Grand Caravan (2004-2007)||*****|
