Plug-and-play satellite radios are remarkably convenient, but they all pose the same dilemma: where do you mount them? Xact's Visor XTR3 radio takes a unique approach to this problem by including a bracket that offers four different mounting options.
You have the choice of mounting the radio on top of your dash with the included adhesive pad, on the windshield with the included suction cups, on a universal or vehicle-specific mount (such as a bracket made by Pro.Fit), or on your sun visor. And here's a neat feature: when you turn the radio upside-down to mount it on the sun visor, the one-line display flips over at the touch of a button for easy reading. The DC adapter plugs right into your car's cigarette lighter to provide power.
Surf the SIRIUS dial with the rotary knob on the side. The 16-character, scrolling display shows you your choice of channel name, song title, or artist name. Thirty-six channel presets keep your favorites close at hand. The wireless remote offers convenient system control. And the Visor features a built-in wireless FM transmitter that lets you broadcast the sound over any FM radio.
Note: A subscription to SIRIUS is also required. Satellite radio service is available only within the lower 48 states not available in Hawaii or U.S. territories. Limited service is available in Alaska.
