You'll be able to use voice dialing once you've sync'd the receiver up properly. On top of that, Bluetooth audio streaming connects this receiver to the music library on any device that supports the Bluetooth A2DP profile — no cables needed. And you'll even have some control over most players, too.

Ready for your digital world
Kenwood's Excelon receivers are well-equipped to integrate with all your gear. Connect your iPod® or iPhone® to the receiver's front-panel USB input, and you're ready to access your playlists. Kenwood makes it so easy to navigate your tracks and playlists, as dedicated "Search" and "Return" keys cut down on the need to work through menus when you're looking for a specific song.

Pandora® Internet radio
Pandora users will appreciate this receiver's excellent built-in controls — you can scroll through your stations and give a thumbs-up or thumbs-down right from the receiver's face.

Android
What about Android, you ask? If you store your music on an Android device, download Kenwood's free Music Control app and you can enjoy a variety of search and playback features when your phone is plugged in via the front-panel USB.

Need more?
The front-panel auxiliary input offers an instant connection for a portable satellite radio or another sound source. You can play all kinds of CDs, even discs that you've loaded with MP3 and WMA files.

The Excelon difference
Not only are Kenwood's Excelon receivers built for sound quality, they feature 4-volt preamp outputs to send a powerful signal to your amps. And you'll enjoy a 2-year warranty to go along with the great sound.

Want to keep your car's steering wheel audio controls?
In most vehicles, you can use an adapter to connect your vehicle's steering wheel controls to this Kenwood stereo. Connect a few wires, then program the adapter for your particular car and this Kenwood, and you'll retain the convenience of your steering wheel controls. Check the "Accessories" tab for compatible adapters.

Bluetooth note: Use of this receiver's Bluetooth features will depend upon your phone's Bluetooth capabilities. Learn more in our article explaining Bluetooth profiles.

Note: If you're going to use your iPod or iPhone with this receiver, be sure to check "Details" for specific iPod model compatibility with this receiver.

worked pretty well for the 2 years I have had it. Hooked up to an old Phoenix Gold QX4150, sounds good lots of level and frequency adjustments for fine tuning sound, had all the features I wanted at a good cost.

Pros: USB, AUX, 3 preamp outs, bluetooth music and phone, CD, detachable face, good durability.

Cons: every three months or so one of the inputs(AUX USB CD Bluetooth) would quit working or the whole thing will go dead. Remove fuse or battery and back to life. ?

Bought this unit for my son's Toyota pickup. Easy to use, plenty of power for a kid who wants a lot of sound and like the IPOD control. Just a great unit at a great price!

Pros: Power, IPOD control, ease of install and outputs for subs, etc.

Cons: Remote is not much outside the truck.

Excellent product, the price is right, and with Crutchfield you know you get the free installation gear with the kit. This makes everything super easy to install, had it in and playing in just under an hour, and I even took the time to solder the wiring harness.

Pros: Subwoofer pre amp output jacks, fully controllable eq, all the good options, wasn't missing any of the important features.

Cons: No dimmer I guess?, big deal...

Bought to replace a dead Sony Xplod BT3800U. . .purchased a scratch and dent model and can't tell at all. Much better quality than the Sony, much easier to operate while driving. Installation went without a hitch. . .too cold in the garage to fool around with the bluetooth microphone, but can't wait until it gets warmer to tear everything out and install it again with it.

    Pros: Great value, AWESOME product

Cons: Don't like that there isn't a built-in bluetooth microphone in the faceplate like the Sony, but people I'm calling will probably appreciate the lack of noise using the external microphone.

I wasn't sure how an aftermarket deck would work out in my Kia Forte so I got a less expensive Kenwood. Crutchfield provides al the right adapters and instructions for a clean install. I bought this unit to replace the factory HU in a Jeep Liberty, along with a pair of Polk audio 6.5s front and rear. I've had a few Kenwoods over the years and they've all been pretty straight forward...wire, mount, set the clock. This one had preset speaker size settings in the Initial Setup section that I missed. I was about to send the Polks back when I saw what I missed. All working pretty well now. Sound is great, controls are still taking some getting used to, and the BT is hit and miss with my wife's iPhone. However, it connects every time with mine.

Pros: Good price on an Excelon, great sound (after initial setup), lots of options for expanding the system.

Cons: Speaker setup took a while. System Q and custom EQ takes a little time to adjust correctly for each input.

I bought this Kenwood to replace the stock deck in my 1999 Suburban. I am amazed at the value. 1) It sounds better, and has better Bluetooth functionality and quality than two expensive aftermarket kits I put in my other vehicles (Parrot unit, and the Mediabridge). 2) Ease of installation. The Crutchfield instructions were easy to follow, though I recommend watching some YouTube videos to understand how to remove the dash bezel. 3) Sound quality: this deck sounds far better than the stock unit, and streaming bluetooth audio sounds excellent -- again, better than the Parrot and AudioVox devices I've used in other vehicles) 4) Value. You can't beat it. I am amazed in the value you get for the price.

Pros: Incredible value for the money. Great sound quality. Straightforward to install. Great bluetooth performance.

Cons: The wiring harness required crimping or soldering -- fine for me, but might be complicated for others.

Awesome stereo for the price, considering all the audio streaming stereos I've owned all had static but this stereo was crystal clear and worked like it should!

Pros: Everything works like it should, great audio stream, great USB hook up(iphone5) no problem at all with the Bluetooth calling sounds clear on both ends, awesome remote signal, great audio adjustments including subwoofer, no popping noise when turning radio on.

Cons: Two problems with this stereo is that if your dash gets a lot of sunlight it makes it a little hard to see the display, and the radio reception isn't the best but i don't listen to the radio with it, other than that it's a great buy

I purchased this unit to update the aftermarket head-unit that the previous owner of my car installed.]. My main reason for this particular unit [besides Crutchfield chat's awesome recommendation] was the CD, AUX, and Bluetooth capabilities - and yet maintaining a fair price. Installed and instantly BT'd my phone to the unit - it synched all my contacts and I was rocking to Pandora within a few brief minutes. Really love this head unit and the things that can be done with it!

Pros: Bluetooth, Aux/USB Port on front, Price

Cons: A little tricky when getting started

I've had this stereo now for about 4 months and have had it in 2 cars already. The interface is very easy to use and has some features for fine tuning sound i have yet to dare messing with, seeing as I have it dialed in to a way that I'm quite pleased with. Bluetooth was a little bit of a learning curve, but once you pick it up it is pretty simple. My only gripe about it would be that sometimes the bluetooth gets a little bit funky; sometimes once in a while it won't sync up with my phone (iphone 4) although bluetooth is always turned on with the phone, and if I'm on the phone when I start the car and bluetooth syncs up the person on the other line can't hear me unless I either turn the radio off or change the source for the call. Sound quality is great via am/fm, ipod, usb flash drive, and I can't recall putting a cd in. Bluetooth audio streaming is another fantastic feature I was surprised by, great for if I want my music without fumbling to plug the phone in. All in all I have recommended this stereo to friends as well as the Kenwood brand in general, this is my second stereo I've purchased with the last one being a Kenwood, I have had nothing but great luck with their products and can't see myself purchasing anything else for a stereo anytime soon (especially since I love this one so much).

Pros: Easy ipod interface, looks good, easy to use in general, good amount of features for the money, 2 year warranty, remote easy to use

Cons: Occasionally buggy bluetooth (could be a fluke with my stereo or phone in all fairness), would like variable color even if just for buttons

This radio worked phenomenally for about 4 months. Recently, I've been trying to connect via bluetooth and it's been extremely choppy. I can't listen to 40 seconds of bluetooth without the connection being interrupted. The sound quality this radio puts out is awesome. I haven't heard a cleaner one at this price.

Pros: Great sound quality, easy-to-use interface,

Cons: Components MAY OR MAY NOT fail after several months of use, cannot change color of faceplate,

The instructions for this unit leave much to be desired. My Bride reports that once she had extensively read and re-read the instructions and watched a couple of UTube vids, she finally had an eureka moment while sitting with our sons at the bus stop. Now everything works, including Blue Tooth; she is now happy with her stereo and all is right with the world.

Pros: Blue Tooth and iPhone connectivity

Primary reason for purchase was to have a clock display in the vehicle, secondary to have USB and auxiliary input on front of unit. After much button pushing, finally figured out how to make the clock display all the time. Unfortunately, the display can only display one thing at a time, i.e. clock, radio station, or CD track. There is more than adequate room on the display. Too bad Kenwood didn't take advantage of it to show more than one piece of information at a time. Even though the display has a dimmer function, the back lights on the buttons on the left and right of the unit are extremely bright and cannot be dimmed

    Pros: USB, auxiliary, Bluetooth inputs

Cons: Extremely bright, non-dimmable buttons; poor display capability

This head unit is a great value, the price is very acceptable for bluetooth streaming and the seperate mic is a plus. I like the clear cover over the USB and audio ports to keep the dust out. The 4V preouts are a great addition and the factor amp is strong at 22RMS per channel which is fantastic. The only issue I had when figuring out the bluetooth was the audio streaming. It was initially setup as the front speakers were working so I thought I installed the wiring harness incorrectly but come to find out there is a setting under bluetooth streaming to change it to full audio so all speakers work...why that setting is there I will never know but just as an FYI to all the others out there.

Pros: Great features, Bank for Buck, 22W RMS, 4V Pre-Outs

Cons: Continues to Download Phonebook every time my phone connects

Great Deck, sound is excellent and Bluetooth works well for me.

Pros: I like the ease of use with the bluetooth. Was a decent price up here in the Great White North.

Cons: Unable to turn of the RDS function! I love and hate RDS. Reason being it's a pain when you are just trying to figure out what station you are listening to. If they had the feature to turn it off I would rated it even higher. If I knew what RDS was before I bought the deck I would have likely did a little more reviews before buying.

This unit does all that it is advertised to be. Good sound quality.....looks great, sounds great. Operation instructions seem a little difficult to understand. Not being a true techy audiophile, I found it difficult to understand the various settings in the instruction manual. It would have been helpful to have an explanation as to what the variious settings would do to the performance and sound quality. Installation instructions, however, were accurate and no major installation issues were noted, except that it needs to be clear that the stock unit for the Yukon has two connectors going into the back of it.....the Kenwood unit only accomodates one connector. Presumably the additional connector on the stock unit is for the operation of the cassette deck that came with the vehicle in 2001. No big deal to disable the cassette deck, since I doubt if anyone will want to still play these antiquated cassettes anyway. I do however, have two issues. It seems when the car is running, but the head unit is turned off, the clock does not display the time unless the unit is turned on. I am so used to seeing the clock display all the time that this will take some getting used to. Additionally, when turning the unit off, unless you hold the power button in, you will scroll thru all the functions such as "Tuner, Aux, CD" etc. It probably would be better to have a separate power on/off button.

Pros: Ease of installation. Great sound.

Cons: Operating instructions should be made easier to understand. Clock only displays when the unit it turned on.

Pros: Sound quality, ease of use, looks great. The GM adapter made the install a snap, well worth the $39.

I purchased this model for the bluetooth features. The bluetooth connection setup was ease. The person that I was speaking was clear through the car speakers. The problem was the quality of my voice. The person on the other end could barely understand me after I repeated myself two to three times. It sounded like a hide a bad sore throat and was talking inside a steel barrell. Crutchfield sent me another unit to try. I switched out microphones, cell phones, and the head unit, but nothing changed. I had to finally return this unit for a Pioneer. The FM reception was also disappointing. My 1999 factory stereo actually had better reception.

Pros: Good Instructions Display Voice dialing

Overall I'm extremely happy with the head unit. I bought one for my Jeep Wrangler and was pleased enough to buy the same thing for my F-150. Very cool looking head unit and the two things I like the most are the extra rca's in the back and the fact that they're higher amperage so they give you an audible boost if you're running an external amp. About the only negative I can think of is the bluetooth functionality is a bit frustrating at times...sometimes it works perfectly, but other times depending on how I shut the unit off or whatever it doesn't want to connect to my phone...seems very touchy.

Pros: Looks great, sounds great, lots of options for a reasonable price

Cons: bluetooth capability seems a bit touchy at times.

I chose this unit primarily because it is one of the few that offered the higher voltage pre-outs (4 volts instead of 2.5). I installed this in an older Nissan with Bose factory sound, and word on the street was that the lower voltage pre-outs were not enough for the bose amplifier. Removing the amplifier means also replacing the speakers, because they are some odd impedance. Anyway, the output was still short of good, as I had to maxout all bass controls to get any decent bass output. Crutchfield came to the rescue, and provided me with a different interface kit that allowed me to use the speaker outputs to drive the amp. The sound was better, but not as good as the Pioneer that I have driving stock speakers in my Dodge. To be fair, the problem may be the Bose amp. The Kenwood offers alot of 'tweak' tools, and very intuitive tools to get to them. The settings menus are organized well, and took no time to get accustomed to. Bluetooth works as I expected it to, flawlessly. One caller actually complained that I was too loud when speaking with a subdued voice; The Kenwood provides Mic Gain to fix that problem. Although I am a Pioneer Fan, I am very happy with this unit, and would recommend it.

Pros: Intuitive controls, tools to tweak the sound to your liking

Cons: the display, composed of multi-segment characters; would rather have had the dot matrix characters

I replaced a stock radio on a bmw 328is with this unit. The install was fine. I did call the support to match up all the wires correctly. There are a few you don't use and the support team was great. After everything was connected the hardest part was putting the new unit back in the dash. Sounds good, everything I needed was supplied. I ordered it on a Thursday and it was at my house when I got home on Monday. The features are great. I love the speed dial/ preset on the radio and the hands free calling. Pandora and the ability to play my iPod/ iPone with this Kenwood is great.

Pros: Hands free. Pandora iPod/ iPhone

Cons: Not all the wires are used and is a little confusing and the blue goes to the blue/ white wire.

Replaced a factory VW Monsoon head unit. The install was pretty simple. I did have to call in to tech support for a wiring question, but I was helped quickly and expertly. The unit is solid and about 35% louder (not scientifically verified) than the factory unit. The faceplate is catchy though. It doesn't always come off easily on the first try. Maybe, with time, it will get easier. The bluetooth directions, like other reviews have stated, are the worst part of the instructions.

Pros: Bluetooth Audio, good tonal range, affordable, lights match my dash,

I purchased this unit to replace a Bose CD changer in my wifes 2003 Altima. The install kit (for the Altima) made everything look as if it were a factory unit. I purchased this model because it has handsfree bluetooth for connecting to the iPhone which works perfectly. It took me a few minutes to figure out the setup, but after that no problems at all. Once the phone is setup, all my wife has to do is get in the car and the phone connects automatically. It also has the ability to setup 5 different phones. The system also sounds as good or better than the Bose unit that was in the car from the factory. Great buy, perfect solution for my wife.

Pros: Easy install, looks great in the car, has bluetooth handsfree and works perfectly with the iPhone. I read some reviews before purchasing this unit and they complained about the handsfree, saying they could not hear the caller over the speakers in the car. I haven't had this problem. My rating on the handsfree is 5 stars!

Cons: Instruction manual leaves much to your imagination when it comes to setup. If you are the type that can tinker until you figure it out, you won't have any issues. I did the setup and didn't have to call the help line. However, I hear Crutchfield has a great help line so you can call them if you need direction.

I am truly amazed at how simple the installation was in my 07 Dodge Grand Caravan and well all the features of this unit works. I also installed the Metra ASWC for the steering wheel control. I just had a couple of calls to Crutchfield's to clarify a few things and every time I called there was no wait and my questions were answered and I finished the installation in a few hours. Sound is 100% better than the stock unit. The iPhone hook up and bluetooth work beautifully and if you press the iPod/iPhone button on the unit you can control the music from the phone which is a big plus. Navigating through the radio takes too long. I had an Alpine unit on my old van and that was the only way to control the iPod and it was a real pain to use. I haven't tried the Pandora feature yet. I purchased a 16 gig USB drive that is the size of a finger tip. How they make them so small is mind boggling. Anyhow I loaded it up with music from my Mac. I don't think I did it correctly because although the music plays all the folders have numbers instead the the folder names. I'll have to play with this more. Don't hesitate to buy this unit. Great value and makes the OEM speakers sound fanatic.

Pros: Great customer service, great value, easy instillation, hands free phone feature is worth the money.

    Cons: None.

Well, my wife has stolen the Camry since I installed this unit, so I'm may not have all the facts yet. ;-) This unit, when plugged into the car's amp and JBL speaker system really performed......excellent! I've had Kenwoods before, home, car and boat and have always been pleased with not only the syle and functionality but, more importantly, the fidelity. Kenwood delivers on all fronts! I don't think it is that hard to operate. Like any new piece of equipment, you have to get familiar with it. I think we are less patient these days for that but most of the functions work similar to other compatable equipment. Just playing with it is all it takes, really. I was disapointed with the dash kit for my car, It did not fit as cleanly as I would have liked but it was "free" with the unit.....can't complain. Doing this in a Camry takes time and patience and the instructions on the kit part were not as informative as other advice I found on the web for dismanteling the console and dash. The tuner part was easy. Crutchfield did and excellent job of packaging all I needed for the job, including wiring harnes conversion and suggestions for steering wheel control interface, though my car did not have any. Did it all without an advisor rite on the web site.....just filled out the form for car and make. Got excellent support with a few minor installation questions. Not knocking the advisors, they have helped me before, very good, especially Norm.

Pros: The fidelity....excellent in this vehicle! If you have a Camry with the JBL's, you will not be disapointed. Really like the ipod interface, very easy! I prefer usb up front hook up. Very good value! My wife uses the blue tooth play back more than I but have had no complaints. Very good Fidelity. The heck with the "coolness", though that is always a plus and you get it with this unit, what does it sound like?!! GREAT!

Cons: The blue tooth mic was a bit of an inconvenience but not a big problem.

Bought this unit to replace factory Dodge Ram 1500 radio/cd player that crapped out. Fit great with the included install kit, easy to install. Was really nervous about installing a stereo. Called both Audio Express and Best Buy and both said there wasn't a kit for my car. Crutchfield said there was. Received the stereo and kit, and was able to install the system very easily. That was a very pleasant surprise. Then after using the stereo for the last few weeks, I couldn't be happier. Love the bluetooth audio. Get in the car, and the bluetooth connects to the stereo, and I click play. I have no problem with it resetting the bluetooth. Like the way the buttons are set and the scrolling of song titles on the screen. Very happy with the capabilities and the price of this stereo.

Very satisfied with my purchase. My wife got a new car w/ handsfree calling and an iPod connection, and I guess I got jealous! I had never installed a car stereo before but it went fairly smoothly. The manual could have been a little clearer in how to install the support brackets, but I figured it out eventually. The wiring diagram was a little confusing. Not all of the wire labels matched up exactly to their counterparts on the adapter, but I got it correct without too much trouble. Handsfree works great and the sound is excellent. The only issue I have is sometimes I plug in my iPod and no sound comes out in USB mode. It seems like there might be some issue with the bluetooth and the USB running at the same time. But if I hit 'play' on the iPod, it works. Still trying to figure out what the issue is (maybe it's user error). Also, when playing bluetooth audio, sound only comes out of the front speakers. But maybe that's how it's supposed to work, since all speakers work in other modes.

Pros: Great sound, handsfree calling works great

Cons: Installation manual could have been better

This is a great replacement headunit for my daughter's pickup. The sound is a big step up from the stock AM/FM Cassette player. I got this one for the price to features ratio. I wanted one with hands-free calling so that she had the option of taking a call without having to use the phone. The fact that it had streaming media was important, too. This keeps me from having to get her a satellite radio subscription and she has more control of what she listens to.

Pros: A lot of features packed into an excellent sounding unit at a great price.

Cons: The controls aren't as intuitive as I would like, but she's getting used to it.

I've always been a fan of the kenwood excelon radio. I had one in my 1990 mustang for well over 15 years, which back then cost substantially more money. I decided to upgrade to bring the radio up to date with the built in blue tooth, usb, and I-phone compatibility. Cannot beat the price for what this radio has not only in features but 3 pre-amp outputs!.

Pros: I didn't even have to crack open the instruction booklet to learn how to use the radio. Took abut 20min to learn how to browse through the various menus. Seeing that my previous radio was a kenwood excelon the wiring harness plug-in remained the same. I just pulled the old radio out and plugged the new radio in!

Cons: I didin't realize this model didn't have the HD Radio feature which only costs about $10 more. However, this is a feature that is unimportant to me.

I found the bluetooth section of the KDC-x696 counter-intuitive. The manual is obviously written by an individual for whom 1) English is a second (distant second) language, and 2) the grouping of catagories is a foreign concept. The owners manual is poorly conceived and poorly executed. Some sections of the unit are easily understood and easily navigated, while others(bluetooth) are ungainly and frustrating. Once set up, the unit performs well, with decent sound quality and plenty of power to drive the four 6 1/2" speakers (JBL) I have hooked up to it.

Pros: Sound quality, ability to power 4 speakers to high levels with good bass

    Cons: Bluetooth navigation and manual

Cons: No AM channels Very few FM channels Does not dim when headlights are switched on.

Got this as a replacement for my 2001 Mercedes E320 head unit. This thing took me all of 45 minutes to install thanks to the detailed install sheet and ALL neccessary wiring and tools. After using it for a couple of weeks now and having tweaked the EQ settings I must say that it blows away the factory unit. It has plenty of power to make my Bose equipped car sound crisp and clear with just the right amount of bump. Add to that the fact that I can play my music library through my IPhone4s wirelessly or wired if I need a charge,as well as streaming Pandora, and I am truly a happy camper. It downloads my phone contacts and the voice dialing is incredible. After adjusting the mic gain both ends of phone conversations are also clear and distortion free. This unit is a great buy and shipping was super fast. Not my first Crutchfield purchase and definitely not my last.

Pros: Sounds awesome, great fit, easy install, easy to navigate.

    Cons: None so far.

I got this unit to replace the factory stereo, as I needed built-in bluetooth to use my phone hands free. Right away I could tell that the unit was built solidly. The installation instructions were bomb proof and I had the old unit out and the new one installed in about 30 minutes. Like other reviews I had read the unit takes some getting used to and takes some real time to learn the functions. The bluetooth worked easily and flawlessly and made and received calls with no problem. I was able to easily stream my music from the phone with no problems either. I gave the unit a four star overall due to the time it takes to master the unit. It does make my factory speakers sound much better.

Pros: Easy installation and flawless bluetooth use.

Cons: Hard to learn the functions properly

First of all, instruction manual is useless! Totally! Installation easy and my husband had no problem with that (his background was USN and DOD wiring F-14s, etc) - the first time! Got it all together and found sound to be less than that of the stock factory installed radio in my Nissan Versa. Tech advisors said it "must be because wiring for antenna was improper" - WRONG! Anyhow he took radio out and reinstalled it next morning. Same problem - still does not beat our old radio. As for bluetooth, that is another really sore point. Two days and several hours of on the phone tech support were NO HELP in getting my cell phone paired and operating - except for once. First 2 techs told me that my phone was not compatable. Not according to the compatibility guide! Too much $$ for a product that will not allow bluetooth use. My husband does not want to take it back out and put in another one as advised by Tech - every time you do you risk screwing up air bag connection. That was final solution offered by tech advisors - send it back and we will send you another one. Don't buy this if you are not willing to spend HOURS on phone and HOPE you get results - you may or may not.

    Pros: Easy installation

Cons: Poor reception, NO bluetooth to my phone, instruction manual a total waste of time. Too much money for far too much time spent with tech and for quality not as advertised.

I got this unit purely because of the bluetooth capability. I wanted hands-free calls and bluetooth audio. The hands-free feature works fine. The microphone seems to pick up sound well. My beef is with the bluetooth audio. The radio starts out in the last mode that was active when turned off. When it's bluetooth mode, it starts and says the audio is disconnected or disconnecting, and proceeds to download whatever it's downloading. Afterwards, it doesn't start playing anything until I push the play button. Pushing the play button before I start driving doesn't seem to do anything. So I have to take my eyes off the road and push the darn button EVERY TIME! And then the random play mode resets each time the radio is turned on. I have to push the randomize button EVERY TIME! I already have my music randomized on my iPhone. Why can't the radio just play the music coming out of the iPhone? On top of that, when the inside of the car is hot in the afternoon, or seemingly randomly, the bluetooth audio play button doesn't respond. I have to change the mode back to something else and then back to bluetooth before the play button will respond. Absolutely drives me crazy, especially when I'm trying to merge into highway traffic! My other car has a factory radio with bluetooth audio. It will resume bluetooth audio operation as soon as the engine is started. I was expecting that kind of operation from this radio and am sorely disappointed. Returning the unit. Definitely.

Pros: Reasonable price. Nice front panel. Good sound. Good hands-free phone operation.

Cons: Awful, awful bluetooth audio interface and operation. I give 2 stars for build quality since some buttons seem to have temperature issues.

I recently bought a used vehicle, and the radio in it had already been upgraded; however It did not have Bluetooth or a USB port available. I saw the Kenwood Excelon KDC-X696 on Crutchfield's web site. I checked the price against some other suppliers, but the Crutchfield price was better, the shipping was free, and as a returning customer, I knew the service would be great. The radio came with the adapter kit and wiring harness included, also for free, and following the directions was simple; whole job less than 30 minutes. The radio sounds great.

Pros: Excellent sound quality, foolproof install kit, looks great in the dash, Bluetooth and USB allows a variety of inputs. Remote is a nice feature.

Cons: None really. My new Android phone had some flaky applications which interfered with the Bluetooth phone access at first.
