Features Overview: This cradle is designed for use with the Sonos CR100 Controller and the controller's AC adapter. You can store the controller in the cradle when it's not in use for continual charging, or place into the cradle when the battery charge indicator on the controller indicates it needs recharging. The controller is fully functional while in the cradle. Desktop Placement: The cradle can be placed on a desktop. It's rubberized base prevents the cradle from sliding across the desk. The input for the AC adapter is hidden away in a recess on the bottom panel for a clean look. Wall Mounting: The supplied wall-mount bracket can be attached to a wall using two screws (drywall anchors and screws supplied). The cradle snaps into the wall mount bracket for easy mounting or removal. Note: A 7/32" or 5mm drill bit is needed to drill holes for the drywall anchors. If you are shelling out the money for a Sonos system, this is a good add on. It gives you a spot to put the CR100 Controller when it is not in use. I do like how the controller will not go into sleep mode while it is in the cradle which means it is ready to use right away instead of waiting the 5 seconds to power up. If you don't get the cradle you will have to plug in the controller like with a cell phone. The cradle uses the cord/plug that comes with the controller, if you don't have this cord the cradle will not work. The CR100 Controller does have a battery life that seems to last a couple of days. 2 out of 2 people found this helpful Was this review helpful?
