TomTom's premium GO 2535 M LIVE portable navigator keeps up with your on-the-go lifestyle so you can concentrate on the really important things. Whether you want up-to-the-minute traffic reports or the ability to find an obscure destination within seconds, you'll find this handy travel companion is ready to help without wasting your valuable time. Lifetime Map Updates allow you to keep your maps current as long as you own your TomTom, so you won't be surprised when a destination has moved recently. The navigator accepts spoken commands as you drive, and Built-in Bluetooth® lets you make hands-free calls with your compatible phone.
Your continental companion
Take the GO 2535 M LIVE just about anywhere in North America it's got maps of the entire U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico, plus coverage in much of Mexico. A beautiful 5" glass touchscreen display leads the way, allowing you to quickly move between menu screens and zoom map details with a few finger movements. Add your own favorite stopping points or explore the millions of preloaded points of interest to find the best accommodations and attractions.
Speak your destination address naturally and TomTom's intuitive voice recognition gets you on your way in a snap. You'll hear "turn right on Heron Lane" instead of "take the next right," as voice prompts announce actual street names at turns. Advanced lane guidance puts you in the proper lane for upcoming turns and traffic circles. TomTom's IQ Routes technology uses actual average travel speeds rather than posted speed limits to find the quickest route, so it'll route you around roadways that are always clogged at certain times of day.
TomTom LIVE makes navigation a breeze
Imagine you're looking for an offbeat destination such as a cigar shop, nightclub, or rodeo. TomTom's LIVE information services includes Local Search powered by Google, a convenient way to look up any location, rather than wading through category screens to find the right one. Google's massive location database provides address and phone number info, and with one tap of the screen you'll be routed on your way. TomTom includes a free one-year trial subscription to LIVE services, which also include local gas price info and weather reports throughout the United States. After the free trial expires, TomTom LIVE requires a $10 monthly subscription fee.
TomTom HD Traffic: rapid, reliable updates
New HD Traffic from TomTom covers nearly all roadways in the United States 6 million miles compared to other services' 500,000 and updates every 2 minutes for the most accurate picture of congestion along your route. HD Traffic incorporates real-time information from a wide array of sources to give you comprehensive coverage just about anywhere you drive in America, not just around metropolitan areas. HD Traffic comes with the GO 2535 M LIVE as part of TomTom's LIVE services and is only available in the United States.
Lifetime Maps allows you to update your TomTom up to four times every year as long as you own it, so your maps and POIs stay current. Simply connect your navigator to your computer, and use the code on the enclosed Lifetime Maps card to download the available map updates from TomTom's website.
Keep your maps current
You can use TomTom's MapShare software to fix map inaccuracies on your own, instead of waiting for the next update. You can edit speed limits, points of interest, street names and directions, and more right on your GO 2535 M LIVE. You can also report an error directly to TomTom online and share the fix with other TomTom users. TomTom verifies all changes so you can import edits made by others to your navigator.

Who needs a portable navigator?
A portable navigator eliminates the issue of phone coverage. You don't use data, and you always have maps - even when your phone has no (or slow) service. The maps in a portable navigator are superior to your phone's maps, as are the turn-by-turn directions. Modern GPS navigators have larger screens than most phones, so it's easier to see the map at a glance. Navigators with 3D maps really help you orient yourself quickly in urban areas. If you've got a lead foot, most navigators can also warn you when you are exceeding the speed limit.
TomTom GO 2535 M LIVE Reviews
Average Customer Review:
Much better than any Gramin
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)
I have used Garmin auto and hand held GPS units since they first came to market. Their product keeps getting worse, much more poorly made and more unreliable. Garmins answer when I have had repeated problems was to buy a new one. Why throw more good money after bad. Granted there were a few features on Garmin that I miss but overall the TomTom beats Garmin hands down. So far customer service and price from Crutchfield has been absolutly excellent. I would reccomend them and TomTom over Garmin any time. TomTom feature set is far too rich to go into here. Complete your due diligence reasearch and come to your own conclusion. As for me, Garmin is just a bad memory, TomTom will relabialy get me where I want to go.
Pros: HD Traffic (worth the subscription fee), much more accurate and 2 minute update rather than inaccurate 15 minute updates with ads. Camera alerts. Over posted speed limit alerts. School Zone alerts. Much louder speaker.
Cons: When on the highway TomTom does not say which direction fuel and food are, just how far they are (I will miss this Garmin feature but its not a deal breaker). Hopefully TomTom will will corredt this annoyance with a software upgrade.
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)
A wonderful unit. This unit is in a different league then the 920 that I have.
Capacitive screen is terrific. Very easy touch. Map is very easy to see with
this 5 inch screen. Also it is very good in sunlight. Screen settings change
depending on what your last screen was or if and when you are actually driving.
very intuitive. Typing is much improved from the 920. Each letter pops up
larger to confirm each letter typed. Very fast calculations when planning a
route. Google search in terrific. So much information on POI's are given and
then you can drive to location. HD traffic is wonderful on Long Island, NY.
Tertiary roads and delays are readily seen. Traffic delays are laid out nicely
so you can see everything before you start. So Much better then Plus Traffic on
my 920. Installation of My Tom Tom software went without a problem. Make sure
you make a new account with a new email address when you set up your unit.
After installation, put in your promotion code that you get in your box for
lifetime Maps at your My Tom Tom page on your computer. After everything is
done when you turn on your computer connected to your unit, it opens
automatically goes the MY Tom Tom page where it says if everything is up to
date or starts downloading some update.

5" Widescreen: The GO 2535 M LIVE features a 5" widescreen, capacitive glass touch-panel LCD display (480 x 272 pixels). As with some smartphones, you can move from page to page by swiping your finger across the screen, and pinch to zoom.

This intuitive Voice Recognition feature will recognize several variations of the same command. You can also use Voice Recognition to change display and audio settings, as well as make phone calls with the built-in Bluetooth.
Driving View: When the TomTom GO 2535 M LIVE starts, you are shown the Driving View screen, which shows your immediate locations on the current route. You will get a more accurate ETA and the fastest recommended route based on real world data.
Eco Routes: Using the driving data of millions of TomTom users, the unit can indicate which routes are the most fuel-efficient to save you money and have a lower environmental impact.
Advanced Lane Guidance: When navigating difficult intersections, the GO 2535 M LIVE uses realistic images and a pulsing green arrow to indicate which lane you should drive in to best negotiate the turns. This service is only available in the US and Canada.

Favorite Locations: The Favorite menu allows you to store into memory those locations that you visit frequently. You can choose a favorite location the same way you choose a destination. The following menu options are available; Home, Address, Recent Destination, Point Of Interest, Point On Map, GPS Position (allows you to store your current location quickly), latitude and longitude, and the location where your TomTom was last used.
Help Me! Menu: This feature gives you direct access to safety and road assistance information, such as the phone number and route description to the nearest police station or hospital.
Map Share Technology: TomTom's exclusive Map Share feature enables you to add to, update, and personalize your maps instantly. It also lets you share and benefit from fellow users' changes - daily, automatically, and easily. - TomTom HD Traffic Service: TomTom HD Traffic provides you the most accurate, comprehensive, and frequent traffic information available on a GPS unit.
