PERFECT GPS !!

TRIED SEVERAL GARMINS PARTICULARLY THE NUVI 205W. I RETURNED IT DUE TO THE FACT THAT IT DID NOT SHOW NUMEROUS STREETS IN TOWN I WORK IN. HAVE A FRIEND WITH A TOMTOM AND HE SAID THE TOMTOM IS MUCH MORE ACCURATE AND SHOWED ALL STREETS. SO I REVIEWED THE TOMTOM XL330-S. I PURCHASED IT FROM CRUTCHFIELD.
THIS IS THE BEST GPS OUT THERE FOR THE MONEY. IF YOU DONT NEED BLUETOOTH LOOK NO FURTHER THAN THIS MACHINE. IT IS VERY ACCURATE AND SHOWS ALL ROADS. IT HAS MANY NICE FEATURES WITH LARGE WIDESCREEN. BEST PART ABOUT THIS GPS IS THE WINDOW MOUNT. IT IS PERFECT AND FOLDS UP BEHIND THE GPS UNIT. GET A TOMTOM CASE FOR IT AND THE GPS AND ENTIRE MOUNT FIT INTO CASE. BEST MONEY EVER SPENT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OH YEAH AND CRUTCHFIELD IS AWESOME. NOT A BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE COMPANY OUT THERE!!!

Software for pc backup can be confusing. Mute mode takes too many clicks
to turn of/on.
Screen washes out in bright sunlight.
Hasen't put me in the correct driveway at the end of a trip yet but
directions along the way are clear and easy to follow.

The unit works perfect. It will take you directly to the address that you type into the unit. It does not know all of the one way roads. It did try to direct me the wrong way on a one way street. As long as you pay attention to the road signs you will be fine.

This unit preforms flawlessly. Right out of the box and in your car and your ready to go. A really nice feature is the new windshield mount. Once you get used to how it works, you will wonder why all GPS units dont have them. The best feature is that this unit gives you the street names as opposed to just telling you when to turn, which is nice because you can listen instead of always looking at the unit for directions. All in all, a really easy to use GPS at a terrific price.

This Tom Tom 330s is an amazing machine type in an address even in the middle of the country and your on your way. Instructions are spoken turn by turn and give the most direct route via paved roads.
The downfalls of Tom Tom: Maps are out dated and when you update the map and send it to Tom Tom the wait until the map is verified is to long. If you are going to a destination not on a paved road it takes you the long way instead of the most direct route.
If you are going on a long trip to a foreign area it is a must have the points of interest are spot on and lead you to the fun night life or just a simple gas station. Dont know what I did before Tom Tom.
