Although it provides good weather protection, it is inconvenient to open as I had to almost roll the front flap over the cover to get to the zipper. I don't take pictures in inclement weather, so something a little simpler would have been sufficient. A detachable shoulder strap would be nice, as well, but is not a significant consideration in this purchase. I compared the interior dimensions with that of the camera and could have called on Crutchfield's advisors, but decided to just get it and hope it worked. It is perfect. It is not big and bulky and cumbersome, holds just what you need (extra batteries, computer cord, manual, shoulder strap) with a little extra space to spare. And if it rains, don't worry.
