Overview: The
Tamrac Velocity 7x Photo Sling Pack (5767) is a
unique, ultra-functional pack that carries like a backpack, but
swings around to the front for quick access to an SLR with a 6" lens attached and a couple additional lenses. Inside the main compartment, the
camera (with lens attached) is suspended on two vertical, foam-padded dividers.
The secure, zippered Quick Flip Top opens away from the body for fast and
convenient access to camera gear. A well-padded sling strap comfortably
distributes the weight, but does not need to be removed to quickly access photo
equipment. A Tuck-A-Way waist belt allows the pack to
be used while hiking, biking ,or doing other activities. The front pocket has
organizer pockets inside to keep a mobile phone, PDA or photo accessories within
easy reach. It also features Tamrac's patented
Memory & Battery Management System that uses red flags to identify available memory cards and batteries from
ones that are used up. A pocket inside the lid stores filters and lens caps.
This pack is also customizable with Tamrac's Modular Accessory System components.
Construction: The Tamrac Velocity 7x Photo Sling Pack is constructed
of strong PolyTek with two waterproof coatings, and lined with smooth nylon. The
Photo Sling Pack is foam-padded with thick, high-density, closed-cell foam; and
features adjustable foam-padded dividers, and a foam-padded bottom. The Tamrac
5767 uses heavy-duty welded "D" rings and metal military spec hardware for added
durability and strength. In addition, all seams are reinforced, and "box" or
"box-x" stitching is used at stress points.
Sling Design: The Tamrac 5767's sling design allows the pack to be
carried like a backpack with equipment easily accessed by sliding the pack
around to the front. Its adjustable, foam-padded sling strap comfortably hangs
snug against your body. The sling pack also features an easy-grip carrying
handle.
Capacity: The Tamrac Velocity 7x Photo Sling Pack (5767) holds and
protects a digital SLR camera with a 6" zoom lens attached, additional lenses
and a flash.
Total Coverage Top: Tamrac's Total Coverage Top offers
triple protection against the elements by providing three levels of security:
EasySqueeze quick-release buckles for security, a storm-tight zipper for
