Having only 15-in. depth for components, though, was a little bit of a problem because we have a cd-changer that's too deep. The first delivery had a damaged bottom swivel. The edge was crushed because it's not made of solid wood, it's particle board (?) with a wood laminate. Cons: Expensive, components run hot - something I was not expecting given the hype surrounding the BDI name. It is a nice looking cabinet and sturdily built, that requires some assembly when you get it home. It is my first BDI cabinet and I had very high expectations - especially for the price. I am greatly disappointed in the heat build up in the cabinet with the door closed as I am only running two devices - a few watts from the integrated amplifier and an HD radio receiver above it. R.
