Make Mirage's compact Nano CC center channel speaker part of your home theater system and enjoy spacious, engaging sound for dialogue and on-screen sound effects. An elegant, high-gloss black finish makes this speaker a stylish addition to any room. And Mirage's high-tech innovations ensure consistently clear, true-to-life audio.

Innovative design for exceptionally open, lifelike sound
The key to this speaker's big, dynamic sound is Mirage's exclusive Omnipolar® technology. Thanks to the saucer-shaped Omniguide mounted above its drivers (see "Photos" tab above), the Nano CC can disperse sound evenly in a 360° pattern. The result: a deeper, wider, taller soundstage that transforms your entire listening space into a "sweet spot." Mirage's approach delivers a combination of direct and reflected sound that's more like what we hear in real life. And you won't have to stay in one prime seat — you'll experience warm, natural audio throughout the room.

Versatile system-building options
Build a 5-, 6-, or 7-speaker system using the Nano CC as your center channel and the Nanosat Prestiges as your fronts and surrounds — just add a Mirage powered subwoofer for a complete system. You can also add a second Nano CC for a strong back surround.

Your home theater's most important speaker

The center channel speaker is the workhorse in a home theater system. It has to reproduce clear dialogue and special effects that keep your eyes and ears glued to the movie action. A high-quality center speaker is a great investment for any surround sound setup. Try to choose one that's as closely matched as possible to your front right and left speakers, so that as sound moves across the front stage, it stays seamlessly realistic.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Voice sounds so much clearer with the center speaker as compared with the smaller one.

Pros: Would have been better if the center speaker is included with the sent sold

Cons: Now I have an extra side speaker.

Mirage Nano CC speaker

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The sound quality of the speaker is good. It's small which is another reason I purchaed it but I didn't realize that it would be hard to find a stand for it. It's not small enough to put on top of my LCD TV but it's too small for the available speaker stands. The speaker bracket that comes with the speaker is not that intuitive to use. I'm still trying to figure out how to hang it properly from my TV stand without the speaker falling down. Overall, the speaker is a good deal and compliments my other Mirage speakers.

Driver Technology

OmniPolar Design: Using the Omniguide, the NanoCenter radiates sound in a 360° pattern. This pattern creates a deeper, more spacious soundstage and a bigger sweet spot in your listening area than a typical direct radiating speaker. When listening to acoustic instruments live, we hear more sound reflected than directly. The Omniguide closely approximates this reflected to direct ratio, giving the NanoCenter a large, realistic soundstage.

Drivers: The center speaker house a 3" polypropylene cone midrange with butyl rubber surround and a 2/3" pure titanium hybrid (PTH) dome tweeter mounted on the Omniguide.

Speaker Matching: If you wish to use the NanoCenter speaker for a surround system, you can purchase additional voice-matching satellites (653NANOPB) to fill out your speaker requirements.

Enclosure Design

Enclosure: The center speaker has an acoustic suspension, extruded aluminum enclosure in a beautiful high gloss black finish.

Speaker Terminals: The center speaker features high-quality spring post speaker terminals for a secure and convenient connection. You will need to remove a plug that's inserted in the center of the binding post if you wish to use single banana plugs, the terminals are too far apart for dual banana plugs. Spade connectors, pin connectors, or bare wire up to 10 gauge can also be used.

Mounting Options

Mounting: The center speaker comes with a metal horizontal mounting bracket so you can mount your center channel to the wall. The bracket is mounted with two screws to the wall and can position the speaker right side up or upside down. The center speaker slips into place overtop the bracket once the bracket is mounted to the wall. The bracket mounts the speaker flush to the wall or two 1/4" spacers are provided to space the speaker approximately a 1/4" from the wall. If you mount the speaker more than six feet off the floor, Mirage recommends turning the speaker upside down. If you place the speaker on a table or shelf, put it as close to the front edge as possible.

Video Shielded: The center speaker is magnetically shielded for safe placement near your TV or computer monitor without causing picture interference.
