Our take on the Mirage Nanosat® 5.1 Home Theater Speaker System

by Amanda P.

Why choose a pre-matched speaker system?

Looking for speakers that'll deliver thrilling, edge-of-your-seat surround sound? Choosing a pre-matched speaker system is one way to ensure seamless home theater performance. These systems are made up of speakers that share the same tonal characteristics — that means the sound will stay consistent as it moves from speaker to speaker around your room. Most pre-matched systems come with a subwoofer — a must-have for high-impact bass.

Mirage's sleek Nanosat speaker system surrounds you with high-impact home theater sound. Five compact satellites and a subwoofer combine to create gorgeous, full-bodied audio with an impressively big, spacious soundfield. Experience realistic imaging — hear the exact location of an engine rumbling off-screen, or the splash of individual raindrops in an enveloping thunder storm. This system's elegant good looks make it a great addition to any room.

Innovative design for expansive, lifelike sound
The key to the Nanosat system's open, true-to-life sound is Mirage's exclusive Omnipolar® technology. Each speaker disperses sound evenly in a 360° pattern, thanks to the saucer-shaped Omniguide mounted above its drivers. The result: a deeper, wider, taller soundstage that transforms your entire listening space into a "sweet spot." Mirage's approach delivers a combination of direct and reflected sound that's more like what we hear in real life. And you won't have to anchor yourself to one prime seat — you'll experience warm, natural audio throughout the room.

The subwoofer also boasts high-performance innovations. Its patented driver design allows the woofer to move faster and with greater precision, giving you consistently clean, distortion-free bass.

Out-of-the-way placement options
Mirage's Omnipolar design gives you lots of placement flexibility. The tiny satellites can sit comfortably on shelves or tables, or you can mount them on the wall using the included hardware. Because of the way they radiate sound, they're more forgiving than direct-firing speakers. For example, you can place the satellites high up near the ceiling for a cleaner look. Tuck the subwoofer away behind the couch or under an end table to reduce room clutter.

If you have a six- or seven-channel home theater receiver, you can add one or two additional satellites for even more engaging surround sound.

    Overview

System Components: The Mirage NanoSat System is a 5.1-channel speaker package, the system includes five identical satellites and a powered subwoofer. The NanoSat satellites are also sold individually, giving you the option of adding additional matching satellites for 6.1 or 7.1 channel surround.

    Satellites

Drivers: Each satellite houses a 2-3/4" titanium deposit polypropylene cone midrange with butyl rubber surround and a 3/4" pure titanium hybrid (PTH) dome tweeter mounted on the Omniguide.

OmniPolar Design: Using the Omniguide, NanoSat satellites radiate sound in a 360° pattern. This pattern creates a deeper, more spacious soundstage and a bigger sweet spot in your listening area than a typical direct radiating speaker. When listening to acoustic instruments live, we hear more sound reflected than directly. The Omniguide closely approximates this reflected to direct ratio, giving the NanoSats their large, realistic soundstage.

Enclosure: The satellites have an acoustic suspension, extruded aluminum enclosure.

Mounting: Each satellite comes with a key-hole slot wall mount bracket installed. The bracket is mounted with one screw and can position the speaker right side up or upside down. The brackets mount the speaker approximately 1/4" away from the wall. If you mount the satellites more than six feet off the floor, Mirage recommends turning them upside down. If you place the satellites on a table or shelf, put them as close to the front edge as possible.

Speaker Terminals: The satellites have high-quality binding post speaker terminals for a secure and convenient connection. You will need to remove a plug that's inserted in the center of the binding post if you wish to use single banana plugs, the terminals are too far apart for dual banana plugs. Spade connectors, pin connectors, or bare wire up to 10 gauge can also be used.

Video Shielded: The satellites are magnetically shielded for safe placement near your TV or computer monitor without causing picture interference.

Additional Speakers: If you wish to use the NanoSat System for a 6.1 or 7.1 channel surround system, you can purchase additional satellites (653NANOPB) or an additional center channel speaker (653NANOCTR, same design in a different cabinet) to fill out your speaker requirements.

    Subwoofer

Design: The NanoSub is specifically designed for this system and is available only in this package. The crossover point and phase are factory set to match the NanoSat satellites. The down-firing 8 inch sub features a ribbed elliptical surround to eliminate surround distortions and allow greater efficiency. The port is front facing.

Connections: The NanoSub has spring clip speaker level inputs and a mono RCA line-level input. If available, Mirage recommends using the line input with the preamp's crossover set as close to 120 Hz as possible.

Volume: The subwoofer has a separate volume level, allowing you to adjust the subwoofer volume relative to the rest of the system.

Power: The power switch has three positions; on, off, and auto. In the auto position the sub turns on when it senses an audio signal and turns off after approximately five minutes with no signal.

    Lots of bang for buck/size

Written By turbo, Long Island, New York on Tuesday, March 17, 2009
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Amazing sound if you have crossover function in your receiver. Running full frequency range leaves sound muddy; letting the sub handle the lows and feeding the satellites the highs is necessary to reach full potential. The hemispherical reflector in the mid-range actually does a great job spreading out the sound. You can't review these without mentioning the small size. If you live in an apartment or don't have space these are ideal. Speakers are hefty and well made and sound fine at all volumes. Surround sound is fantastic watching movies and CD's are much clearer. Overall, great speakers for the price/size but do get the subwoofer and use a crossover.

These things are incredible. The amount of clean sound that comes out of something so small is unbelievable. I am still trying to work out the bass module, it is either too much or not enough. That is a problem I don't mind dealing with. I strongly recommend these speakers.

    Excellent speakers!

Written By Aslam, Chicago, IL on Monday, February 02, 2009
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I purchased these speakers from Crutchfield and set them up with my Onkyo 606. This is my first home theater surround sound system.

Out of the box, the speakers feel solid and look very nice. The grills are magnetically attached and very easy to take off, but won't fall off. The binding posts are great and setup was easy.

The speakers have a small footprint and blend in well. I have the sub hidden behind the TV, but it has a cool blue light on it that looks nice, so leaving it out wouldn't be a problem.

I watched Jurassic Park and was blown away! I don't have any problem hearing the voices even at low volume, and the bass is plenty for my 16x20 ft condo room. (I actually almost knocked a mirror of MY NEIGHBORS wall, on the other side of their condo!) I had to dial down the subwoofer.

The mirage omnipolar technology causes a wide soundfield. I can listen from anywhere in the family room and here the same sound. Not like other speaker systems where if you move out of the center listening position you sacrifice sound. Sound fills the whole room and its not obvious which sounds are coming from what speaker, which I love. The downside is that you can't pinpoint exactly where something is.

I was also looking at other systems, but after reading review after review I decided to save a few $100 and get these. I am not disappointed and hopefully will be using these for a long time.

Quality speakers. 5 identical mini's, 1 for center channel which is somehow weak but does the job.

Subwoofer is ok for a small room, so if you want a deep whoof this is not for you.

I finally got my Nanosats installed and hooked up with my Onkyo 705 to complete the home theater in our family room and I have to say I am very pleased that they do a very efficient job in filling up and balancing out the room with surround sound for our viewing and listen pleasure. There's still some minor fine-tuning needed but I can tell I made the right choice both in picking these speakers and buying them from Crutchfield's!!! Offering the best prices combined with top of the line service, I am proud to say 99.9% of my home theater pieces are from Crutchfield........and when the time comes, I'll definitely be back for MORE!!!

    Superb Quality for the Price

Written By Nathan, Austin, TX on Tuesday, December 23, 2008

I received this system from Crutchfield yesterday and immediately set it up. I am using a mid-level Sony Receiver (85 watts per channel) to drive this surround sound system in my living room. Initially, I only hooked up the fronts, center and sub since we will soon be rearranging the room. First, I was immediately impressed with the design and manufacturing quality. They are not cheapo poorly constructed Bose satellites but rather, heavy rushed aluminum with nice binding posts. They have some weight to them and feel solid when held. The free stands went together easily. I did not find feeding the wire through them as bad as previously suggested by other reviews. Simply tilt them horizontally with the hole facing downward, feed the wire through one hole until gravity pops it out the opposite hole. It only took a few attempts. Upon firing the system up (featuring Batman - The Dark Knight), I was extremely impressed with the sound quality and balance. Nice pin-drop highs and transitions to the low frequencies. The sub is really nice. It is not the earth-shattering growls you will get from a 200-watt 10" powered sub; but that type of sub will cost you as much as this entire system. I love low end sound (12 in. JL in my trunk) and this sub is plenty sufficient for my theater application. I highly recommend this to all my friends.

I'd picked this set up to fit in with with the decor of our newly remodeled
den with the requirements of a small footprint and good sound at normal
listening levels for everyday use. The Nanosats have exceeded my
expectations of a small system, and coupled with my Onkyo 606, has
performed flawlessly with music, TV and DVDs. The stands that came free
with the set really look nice and put the rear surrounds at exactly ear level.

Can't be beat for the price

Written By Giakog, NY NY on Friday, September 12, 2008
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I am very pleased with my purchase. I was prepared to purchase these at the 799.99 price and when the price dropped it really is a no brainer. Mirage have been around a long time and have produced quality speakers. So I knew I was getting a reputable product. I had a setup which I loved dearly. The sound quality can't be expected to be matched by a sub compact system such as this, but that being said it is very good. Even better than expected. My wife deemed the VT2's too big and not needed and after two years of nagging I broke down and got the Mirage Nanostats. The sound quality is very good for music and movies. Have watched FF4, Spiderman 3 Every Starwars, the imaging is great. Thundering booms and crashes, clarity of glass breaking all around me. All types of Music from Jack Johnson to 50 Cent. Very pleased. You need the subwoofer though. To listen to anything without the subwoofer is just lacking. I plugged the sub into a switched outlet on my Onkyo receiver and it turns on and off with the system. I also like that the brackets to hang them are included and I like that they can be mounted close to the ceiling to hide them from view. If you hang them above 6" you need to hang them upside down which is nice and the screens are held on with strong magnets. I have listened to the 1300.00 Bose systems and they don't even come close. They sound flat and not lively. Save your money and get the Mirage system. Such a better system for half the price.

    Great Sound and Value

Written By Eric, Chicago, IL on Saturday, August 09, 2008
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I chose the Mirage Nanosat speaker system primarily for the compact size, and so far I am very pleased with the overall sound quality.

If I had to nit-pick, the center channel sounds a bit 'thin', which I guess should be expected from the compact speaker size. However, I am not bothered enough yet to spend another $200+ to substitute my center Nanosat with a stand-alone Mirage Nano CC Center channel speaker.

Overall, the system is a great value, and I would buy these again.

    Questionable subwoofer quality

Written By Steven, San Francisco, CA on Thursday, July 03, 2008
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The low rating is based on the defective subwoofer I received in this package deal. It seems to be a "special" model subwoofer just for this set. The one I received produced a loud "buzz" even with no input signal. To their credit, Crutchfield was very friendly, but I still needed to ship the big, heavy subwoofer to one of the Mirage service centers at my cost. Both of the service centers in CA were reluctant to take any subwoofer by mail, but finally reluctantly agreed if I double-box the thing and don't use USPS.

On a related topic, the stands sold for these speakers don't fit as shipped. You need to drill out one of the tapped holes - buy then and you'll see what I mean.

    Two hits against Mirage.

On the positive side, the satellite speakers sound pretty good. Kind of tinny without the subwoofer - we'll see how they sound once I have a working subwoofer.

In short, beware - it's a hassle dealing with a massive subwoofer, and so far I haven't been impressed with Mirage quality control.

Great speakers and sub system for the price! I have it hooked up to my Onkyo 7.1 Home Theater Receiver and it sounds great. I was a little concerned about any type of system since I was using it in a large open room with a vaulted ceiling but I have been very happy with the sound quality I am getting. I am completely satisfied with my purchase! The Crutchfield team was very helpful and my items arrived on time as promised.

    nanosat speaker system

Written By BILL, Dayton, OH on Sunday, April 20, 2008
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The speakers sound great. I was using large advent speakers( 1970's
vintage. Still a great stereo speaker, but not great for surround. The
nanosats with sub make voices much clearer and the room is filled with
much more spread out sound. more like what surround sound is supposed
to sound like. A little thin without sub, but sub should be used anyway.
cd's, tv, and blu-ray sound great.
If you want a really good sound without spending big bucks you should try
the nanosat with sub speaker system.

I have had the Mirage Nanos for about 1 week and could not be pleased more! I have been a lifetime Bose fan, but for the price these blow Bose away big time. My wife likes the small size and the speakers are great looking. The speakers really shine with Blu-Ray and make the Blu-Ray DVDs even more impressive. Listen to them locally and then buy them from Cruthfield for the best price.

Got this Speaker System for my bedroom and all I have to say is WOW! The omni design give a lot of flexibilities for speakers' placement. Overall, these speakers sound great with my Denon 3805. Although, I would probably upgrade the Center Speaker to get a fully sound, Highly recommended.

Great speakers. They don't sound as good as the large floor models they replaced, but they look a whole lot better and still sound amazing given their size. My only complaint is that they don't make it easy to mount on the ceiling because of the way the brackets attach.

    I love these speakers

Written By Harry, New Jersey on Monday, January 28, 2008
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

My living room isn't very big. I have a Sony 55" A2000 TV and it's gorgeous, but as most people say, sound from the built in speakers leaves a lot to be desired when watching concerts, movies, sporting events - just about anything. I agonized over what to purchase for speakers since I have limited room, and came from the "old school" of thought - speakers had to be BIG to be good, right? Several coworkers suggested these, and I took the plunge along with some ceiling mounts. I'm in awe. I watched "Return of the Jedi" tonight I'm loving the Nanosat speakers. If you were like me and have preconceived notions that speakers must be big to be good, forget it! Try the nanosats. My only (very small) beef is that I wish Mirage had a nice discrete ceiling mount "in the box" - their wall mounts work wonderfully and really keep things flush. But that does not detract at all from them. Highly recommended.

    Awe Inspiring

Written By Rich, Llano, TX on Friday, January 18, 2008

I shopped speakers for about 3 months. I became seriously interested in the Nanosats after reading hundreds of reviews from Crutchfield and other websites. I even mentioned the Mirage Nanosat to a salesperson trying to sell me on some of their speakers and at their mention he stated that those were awesome speakers and he didn't have anything to compete with them. These speakers seemed to be phenomenally liked by everyone with only two minor complaints that I could remember; the standard banana plug keeping the speaker from mounting all the way back into a corner and the bass not being to one person's liking. I have not experienced either. The speakers can also take the banana plugs perpendicular and the bass according to many others and myself is just fine.
The eye appeal and the sound quality are both supreme. I hooked my set up to my new Onkyo TX-SR605. The first exercise was going to be a cd with deep bass and a full range of sound. My ears were in heaven, especially since I could feel the bass (10 ft. away behind my cattycorner entertainment cabinet). Next was the movie Twister. I love to turn up the THX sound bite at the beginning of the movie. Now the system is comfortable to listen to at volume 30. I like movies between 55 to 65. For the THX sound bite I took it to 88. It was sooo loud I almost had to cover my ears. The experience was 0.00% distortion and 100.00% awe inspiring. You may think that there will no longer be a sweet spot for movies. I can still experience the sweet spot, however, it is broader. The sound stage is definitely wider and more full. I have had them for about two months and have never been happier with a speaker system.

    Impressive!

    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Impressive. Very impressive. If the rating system consisted of 10 stars I would rate these speakers 11. They are more than I expected. I listened to them at an audio listening room prior to purchasing them from Crutchfield and was pleased with the sound, appearance and construction, but expected them to sound somewhat less impressive when they were installed in my home. I was very pleased to discover they sounded even better at home. While they truly radiate the sound there is still excellent direction and a discernible "sweetspot" but a very wide one! Transient response is excellent. Presence is astounding. No need for presence speakers with these. Crystal clear highs, warm, rich mid-range and refined but strong bass. These speakers are an excellent value and produce sound truly amazing for their small size. I would recommend these speakers to anyone!

    great sound from nanosat system

Written By JOHN, Chicago, IL on Wednesday, September 19, 2007
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I recent installed the Mirage Nanosat system in my
living/media room. The front speakers and subwoofer
are placed in custom cabinets with a fireplace in
between the cabinets. When I first opened the box I
was doubtful the system would be sufficient for my large media room (20' x 20'). I am glad to admit I
was very wrong. The quality and quantity of sound
from all sources is exceptional. The Nanosat system
replaced a pretty good sub/sat system and was capable
of very good localization but only in a limited sweet
spot of seating area. The Nanosat system provides
very good stereo separation throughout the room. When
you combine the price, sound quality and ease of placing
the speakers, this speaker system represent true value
for the money. As always, purchasing from Crutchfield
    was hassle free.

    Mirage NANOSAT System

Written By Ed, Columbia, MD on Tuesday, August 07, 2007
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Last year we decided to get a new HDTV. We bought a Sony SXRD KDA-50A2000 and were pleased with the video but not overjoyed with the sound. After reading the Home Theater for Dummies book and on-line information from Crutchfield. I decided to listen to various speakers at one of the local stores. I listened to 4 or 5 different manufacturers' speakers and was led back to the size and quality of the NANOSAT system. I did more research and finally decided to order the NANOSAT system with a Denon AVR-2307CI receiver.
I installed it myself with 14 gauge wire and gold banana plugs. The installation went smoothly except for the three speakers that I wanted to mount on the shelf and on the TV. The banana plugs wouldn't work because they come straight down. I located some angled gold pin connectors and solved the problem. Once I got it all connected and used the setup procedure for the AV receiver, the sound was worth the wait.
I have been very pleasantly surprised with the clarity and the tone of all audio on the radio, the CDs, DVD's and over the TV. All notes are crystal clear and very pleasant to listen to. My room is about 18 by 14 feet and provides excellent sound in all parts of the room. I would recommend this system to anyone who wants small sized speakers with top quality sound.

    Big Sound! Small Footprint!

    "Wow!!! Amazing sound!!!"

Aesthetically pleasing; wife approval rating/10; Sound/10; imaging/10. Mounting and connection options/9.

Did I say, "WOW!" Purchased from Crutchfield. Very pleasant experience. Thanks CF.

This speaker system is awesome. Paired them with an Onkyo TX-SR605 and 14 gauge speaker wire. Movies come to life with the sound these produce. Bass, connected via MonsterBass™ 300 Subwoofer Interconnect, is nice and tight with plenty of Oomph.

Perfect for open floor plan dwellings. Fills my home with clear and dynamic sound from such a small profile. Wife appreciates the sophisticated look and finish. I ceiling mounted the sats, and my only complaint ... minor at that ... is that the speaker wire is bent to 90 degree angle at connection. No sound issues with the connection. Just don't like the stress placed on the speaker wire at such a vulnerable location.

Definitely recommend for the sound and great price.

    Wonderful Sound & Wife Approved

Written By gregw314, Danbury, CT on Sunday, May 27, 2007

I needed to replace a large surround sound system due to remodeling, space constraints and difficult room acoustics. After several auditions at the local chain stores and dragging my wife around to choose the most eye pleasing speakers I chose the Nanosat's. I mounted these on stands and my wife loved the entire remodeling package complete with surround sound. Then we fired this system up. These tiny speakers filled our great room (15' x 30') with a wonderfully rich, spacious sound that, I believe, direct radiators can not duplicate this is due to the omni-polar design. She even noticed the stereo separation while listening to Joan Jett's "I Love Rock & Roll", that's huge! Then to continue our audition we put in "Twister", in a word WOW! Truly incredible. I can not comment on the packaged sub with the Nanosat system as I have the larger S-8 sub but these satellites along with the S-8 pack quite a wallop. Now we just need to find the time to re-watch our entire DVD collection. Mirage has a customer for life. These speakers are that good.

    Perfect for a Smaller Space

Written By Tim, Des Moines, IA on Tuesday, March 20, 2007
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I wanted an attractive, small, and high quality speaker system that would not have to be turned way up to sound good and not wake my neighbors at night. The Nano Sats are just perfect. I had old Boston Acoustic bookshelf speakers and a Harmon/Kardon powered sub the Nano's replaced and I have to admit that the Mirage Speakers really blow my previous speakers away. I have the Nanos paired with a Pioneer Elite Receiver and they sound and look great. They are just what I wanted and I am much happier that I did not buy a Bose speaker system. The Mirage is my opinion far better sounding and better priced. I highly recommend these. These shipped the same day I ordered them and were here in 3 business days. This was a great experience all around!

    Worth Every Dollars!

Written By softvenue, Brooklyn, NY on Wednesday, March 07, 2007

If you're shopping for a 5.1 speaker system and are considering Bose, take my word and buy this set instead. Mirage Nanosat 5.1 sounds so incredible and passes the WAF (Wife Approval Factor). Actually my wife and I are planning to re-watch all ours DVDs to enjoy this new set. The satellites look great with ours panny 58” and I’m glad I did my research.

My first shipment came with a little problem and I called Crutchfield to have the set replaced. No question ask and the replacement came 3 days later.

If the rating system allows 1 more star, I would give a 6 for Crutchfield return/exchange policy.

    Keep it up Crutchfield!

Mirage Nanosat® 5.1 Home Theater Speaker System

Written By Danny, Houston, TX on Saturday, February 10, 2007
    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I bought the NanoSat and an OminSat center speaker, using the Nanosat speakers as front and back surround speakers. For TV/movie sound, the Omnisat center speaker handles most of the sound and it is great. The nanoSat speakers show their presence whenever there is background sound effects. The stero and music mode without the center speaker also sounds good. If anything to improve on, the subwoofer may be too small; I don't seem to get the earth-shaking 'vroom' effect in movies. I may have to get a bigger subwoofer.

    Outstanding value, big sound!

    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I purchased these speakers and installed them two days ago. The goal was to achieve nice round sound that would fill about 500 square feet of living space from diminutive speakers that could be tucked away out of sight. That is exactly what I got. These speakers are very impressive given the size of both the small sats and the sub. Great imaging, good range, nice tight bass.
Just a word about omnipolar. I had the impression from other reviews that there would be a "lack of place" associated with the speakers, that the soundstage would be poorly defined. Instead, I find there is a defined sound stage but at the same time, it is difficult to precisely locate whether a particular speaker was playing. This is a good thing.
I have very broad taste in music with a heavy emphasis on jazz, acoustic music and vocals of all sorts. A week ago, against my initial intentions, I had been talked into taking home an open box set of Bose Acoustimass III for a "great" price. After having them a few days I was unsatisfied with the thin vocals, indistinct bass and uneven music reproduction. I decided based upon online reviews, including those here, that I would buy a set of these and do a direct A/B test. After setting them up literally right next to each other I did a comparison using the same CD. Within minutes I decided the Bose were going back to the store. All of the shortcomings of the Bose were corrected.
That said, these are small speakers and do begin to break up when challenged with high volume rock and role and booming orchestral music. Nevertheless, at moderate volume in a small space they perform admirably. They come highly recomme

    Nice addition

Great looking, well built little speakers. These deliver a nice sound, though I did end up mixing and matching with my older Yamaha speakers. While these may do well for a complete system, I think they make better surround speakers. The little wall mounting brackets were perfect, and made for an easy install.

I ended up using the Yamahas NS-A425's for the right, left and center channels, and the Nanos for the surround and back surround speakers.

While the sub woofer was decent, it did not quite capture the fullness that my older, larger sub captured. It seemd to sound like a sub, while the other sub delivered more realistic bass reproductions.

Overall the sound with the Nanos system was a bit less than what I had previously (5.1) but joining four of the Nanos sats with three of my older Yamahas, and Yamaha sub, made for a great sounding 7.1 system.

The extra satalite, sub and three other yamahas will make a a mini 5.1 system for another room.

    Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I researched speakers for weeks both on-line and in various home theater stores. This home theater speaker system is superior to others. It consists of quality speakers and a subwoofer that are normally purchased separately. Typically, manufactures skimp on components in packaged systems, this is not the case. Both the speaker and sub-woofer are solid, well constructed, and produce great sound. They were the least expensive piece of an excellent system. The speakers are connected to a Denon AVR 2807 and Sony 40XBR3 and it is a great system.

I had some big JBL studio series speakers that sounded good. I just wanted something smaller. I thought i was going to loose sound quality, boy was I wrong. These little speakers out performed my giant JBL speakers that cost more then these speakers. If you are shopping for some good speakers that do not take up a lot of space, you can not go wrong with these. I highly recomend these speakers for any one. You WILL NOT be disapointed with your purchase.

For the price there aren't many speakers that come close to the sound quality and as reviews have said a "sound cloud".They fill the room completely from most all directions with sound and a more natural sound also. The sub is a must though as if it is not used the satellite speakers can sound a bit shallow
