Remarkable Performance

I just received my shipment from Crutchfield, a full 5.1 system including the OS3-FS, the
OS-CC and OS3-SAT. These replaced my 10+ year old Polk speakers. I cannot say
enough about the Mirage speakers.
The sound quality was remarkable when compared to the much larger Polk speakers I
was using. Very open and very detailed. One note - you will need a subwoofer. I would
recommend the OS series to anyone that wants a better sounding system at a
reasonable price. The high-gloss black aluminum cabinets have a very sleek and
modern look.
Also, Crutchfield's service was excellent - ordered on a Saturday and delivered the
following Wednesday without a scratch or dent.

GREAT SOUND

I combined these speakers with the matching center and the mm8 subwoofer. I took the glass bases off the mains to install them adjacent to a custom 60 inch lcd lift cabinet. I refastened the speakers to custom bases on the sides of the cabinet installed in a wall niche. The center and subwoofer were small enough to fit inside the cabinet behind doors with cloth inserts. Silky smooth! Great speaker combination, clear vocals, great mid, great tweeter, tight sub!Great musicality,very good for movies. I have a custom media room with 802D's, 7.1 800 series center and surrounds that rocks, but I have to admit I found myself listening to this Mirage setup daily. Great job Mirage!
