Good, but only for certain rooms

I've paired this with my Onkyo 605, Mirage Omnican 6, and a Polk PSW111. Make sure to follow the break in period and don't even think about making a judgement of these speakers until it's done. I hooked these up and tried use them and I couldn't believe how BAD they sounded. Once they broke in (while I was at work so I didn't have to listen to them) I couldn't believe how GOOD they sounded. These fit on the base of my Sharp 52D92U and come up to just below the screen and they blend right in. My room is medium to large in size with many strange angles and these speakers are trying real hard to fill the space. There is also very little left/right separation in a space this big (24ftx28ft). I sit 13-15ft from my TV, and while these sound great, they are not all that good for a 3.1 system in a room my size. Once i went to a 5.1 with the Omnicans, then the whole speaker system came together. Overall these speakers offer a great solution and fit my need, but others may want true l/c/r or even a larger speaker to get more mids/lows.

The only flat screen speaker you need

Mirage makes top notch speakers and the Uni-Theater is no exception. This unit is mounted on the wall of my master bedroom.Fits perfectly under my 42" Pioneer plasma. Make sure you follow the instuctions and keep the volume down for a brake in period. Once broke in the speaker is killer for a small to medium room.You should pair it with a good compact Sub for best results. You are getting 3 speakers in one package for $600.00 so compare it to any 3 other "plasma friendly" speakers and you will see what a good deal this unit is. It's a Mirage after all.
