About the Channel Master CM-5016
Channel Master's CM-5016 antenna receives digital and analog over-the-air TV signals in the UHF and VHF ranges. The CM-5016's space-efficient 15-element design is suitable for roof and attic installations.
The CM-5016 is a "directional" antenna design, which means it will provide the best results when most or all of the desired stations are transmitting from the same location. If you'd like to pull in signals from different directions, consider adding a rotor, so you can easily aim your antenna for the best reception.
The CM-5016 is classified as a Medium-sized Directional antenna, with a maximum range of 45 miles for VHF and UHF signals. For tips on selecting an antenna, and links to websites that help you locate HDTV signals in your area, check out our article on choosing the best HDTV antenna.

I needed an over-the-air antenna that would fit in my attic and pick up HDTV and FM stations 30 miles away. I coupled this antenna with a KitzTech KT-200 preamp. The antenna fit and works very well, pulling in 25 digital stations and over 20 FM stereo stations.
