Attractive, matching stabilizers for your THIEL floor-standing speakers

Use these Outrigger stabilizers on your THIEL CS3.7 speakers to create a wider support base for the heavy cabinet. These attachments make your speakers extra "tip-proof" — ideal when placing them on a thickly carpeted floor. The stabilizers easily attach to the four threaded inserts on the bottom of the speaker cabinet, and they use the four stabilizer feet that came with your speaker. The Outriggers have an attractive black aluminum finish with polished black caps to match the floor spikes, and are machined from 5/8" thick aluminum for maximum stability.

Stability

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The Thiel outrigger for the Thiel 3.7 speaker adds physical stability, better sound, and a more substantial look to the speaker. It makes it look like the Rock-of-Gibraltar instead of the Leaning-Tower-of-Pizza. The spike system that comes with the speaker is more than adequate, but if you have a thick carpet and a wood beam supported wood floor, as I do stability comes it to question. The outriggers answer that question with greater stability. Better sound comes from a more stable platform that allows less speaker movement. The outriggers give the speaker a more substantial and balanced look. The combination of the black outriggers with the chrome spike covers complements the design of the speaker and makes better looking. The spikes are expensive, but when you compare it to a damages speaker that some one accidently knock over and damaged it's well worth the cost.

Pros: Better stability, better sound, better looks

Cons: Cost
