Overview: The LG Pocket Photo (PD233) is an ultra-compact photo
printer for use with your iPhone or Android smartphone. It prints full-color,
2x3-inch borderless photos onto special ZINK (Zero Ink) paper. Photos are
printed with a resolution of 640 x 1224 dots in approximately 40 seconds. The printer is
only 2-7/8" x 4-3/4" x 1" in size, and weighs 7-1/2 ounces, so you can take it
ZINK: The Pocket Photo comes with a 10-pack of 2x3-inch ZINK paper for
30-pack of paper is sold separately. Prints come out dry to the touch, and
are smudge-proof, water-resistant, and tear-resistant.
Note: ZINK paper made for
other manufacturer's devices does not work with the LG Pocket Photo.
Compatibility: The LG Pocket Photo is compatible with select
iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch) running version 5.1 and above, and
Android devices running version 2.2 (Froyo) and later.
Bluetooth: The Pocket Photo prints wirelessly from your compatible
device via Bluetooth. The unit is compatible with Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, and has a
range of approximately 33 feet (10 meters).
Pocket Photo App: The LG Pocket Photo app lets you connect
your compatible smartphone to the printer to print your stored photos. In
addition to printing, you can make edits to your photos, such as cropping,
rotating, or adding text, or applying a color filter. Photos can be shared with
others on Facebook, Twitter, or other social networks by creating a QR code. The
Pocket Photo app is compatible with Android version 2.2 (Froyo) and later, and
iOS version 5.1 and above.
NFC (Near-Field Communications): Tap your NFC-enabled
smartphone to the NFC sticker on the top of the printer for an instant
connection to the printer. Near-field Communications is only available in select
Status LED: The Pocket Photo has a side-mounted LED to
indicate the printer's status. It will glow red or green to indicate charging
level. It will also glow or flash white when communicating via Bluetooth with
Power Requirements: The Pocket Photo runs on a built-in 500mAh
Lithium-Polymer rechargeable battery. The battery charges in approximately 1.5
hours and provides enough power for about 20-25 prints. You can charge the battery, or operate the Pocket Photo, by connecting the printer to AC power with
