Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

We had a little trouble getting it going so we had our daughter come over and she called LG and a lady on the phone talked her through the setup process and it was done in about 5 minutes. Then it went through a couple of updates. After that we had no problems. We get Netflix and Youtube and it sometimes will do a little buffering at the beginning but after that there are no interruptions.

Pros: Easy to install on your TV.

Cons: Setup might be a little tricky if you're a novice at such things as this.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Plugged it in and it immediatly communicated with my wireless router. Since the TV was 1 1/2 years old, it had to go through 4 or 5 software updates, otherwise easy to install. Haven't downloaded anything from Netflix yet so I can't comment on the speed.

Pros: Easy to install

Cons: Too pricey.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The adapter works very well. I attached it to the TV, addressed it to my router and everything
was done. The streaming is great. No glitches or stops. Glad I got it.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This products works as advertised. It's a shame that a more generic dongle
cannot be used instead, and the price is a bit high, but it works as it should,
and helps me stream Vudu and Netflix through my LG 42LD550. So, one can argue
the value is not good, but then again, the cost of this product is only a
fraction of the total cost of the new system most of us buy that includes this
accessory. So, I consider it the cost of total purchase, which is easily
absorbed. I am sure that all TVs (and several do now), will soon have built-in
wi-fi, making these dongles obsolete. Until then, fine.
