Here's an Infinity package that has just about everything you need for some great-sounding bass. You'll get an Infinity Reference 7520a 2-channel amp and two Infinity Reference 1030w 10" subwoofers — just add a sub box and wiring and you're ready to roll.

The system's Infinity Reference 1030w subwoofers provide plenty of low-note impact. This sub incorporates a large 70-ounce magnet for excellent power handling, and its sturdy basket eliminates resonances that can lessen bass quality. The subs work well in sealed or ported boxes, and can handle up to 250 RMS watts of power.

The Infinity Reference 7520a 2-channel amp powers the subs. Its high-output design feeds the subs plenty of clean, undistorted power. The amp's low-pass filter sends the right frequencies to the Reference subwoofers, and there's a built-in bass boost circuit if you desire a little more thump in your tunes.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I purchased this combo for my 97 Ford Ranger Super Cab. I absolutley LOVE it! I was worried that the amp was underpowered for the subs, but it isn't. I put the subs in a Q-Logic box also purchased from Crutchfield. It matches the air space recommended perfectly. If you want alot of sound for NOT alot of money, this is for you. A friend of mine has the Rockford combo that's available here, it's good too, but this Infinity setup blows it away! I listen to hard rock and country mainly, but even rap and hip hop sound good too. Stevie Ray has never sounded better. I will probably buy a biggger amp in the future, but there really is no need for it. Great system at a great price. Don't forget to set the crossover to the low pass setting, and adjust the bass boost.

Great starter system

If you are a parent and can't decide what to get your 17 year old...this set up blows away the other three Crutchfield is offering right now. No contest. Plus, unlike so many brands out there that think their stuff is the best, Infinity is up front. You know what you are buying, so save some sales tax and get it here (sorry for you Virginians :op).
