Two sets of drivers on the surround speakers help deliver room-filling effects.
Looking for speakers that can fill your large room with lifelike sound, and then some? Judging from the track record that Klipsch enjoys among our customers, we think this system will hit the nail on the head. Here's how one fan described the included floor-standing front speakers: "The bass, highs, airiness, and overall soundstage are spectacular (and they are not even broken in yet)." Pair these Klipsch speakers up with your home theater receiver and get ready for serious surround sound and rich-sounding music to boot. Keep in mind — these are big, efficient speakers that can really play loud. So crank it up, have fun, and remember to give your ears a break from time to time.
The system includes:
The dynamic sound of Klipsch Reference Premiere
We're used to hearing great things from our customers about Klipsch's signature sound. One technology that helps create that famous Klipsch sound is the horn-loaded driver. Flared openings in the speaker cabinet project sound waves toward your listening area, boosting dynamics and efficiency. The Reference Premiere speakers that make up this system's front, center, and surrounds all use a newly developed Hybrid Tractrix® horn design that delivers a wider sweet spot with more precise spatial imaging. They also use copper-colored Cerametallic™ woofers that deliver smooth, articulate sound, as well as lending your system a striking appearance when you take the grilles off.
Klipsch's Cerametallic™ woofers, shown here on the center channel, deliver smooth sound and have a striking look.
Home theater thunder
Klipsch rounds out the package with their powerful Reference R-112SW, a powered sub featuring a 12" woofer and 300-watt amplifier. One Crutchfield customer sums it up nicely: "It has a nice musical sound when needed. Or an explosion effect can rattle the house." We couldn't have said it any better.
