Features

iPhone 5 VGA Package (for Pioneer AV): When used with a compatible Pioneer in-dash multimedia receiver, the 700VGAAV VGA-to-iPhone 5 Pioneer AppRadio Package enables iPhone 5 users to access and control select iPhone 5 apps via AppRadio Mode (formerly known as Advanced App Mode) as well as play and control music and videos stored on the iPhone 5 from the receiver's touchscreen display.

How It Works: Video travels from the iPhone 5 to the compatible Pioneer receiver via the VGA connector, while the USB connector charges the Apple device. Audio & control is done via the Pioneer receiver's built-in Bluetooth.

Yes, but the whole Appradio experience has really gone down. Almost all the apps don't work. It even says on their website not to download ios 8. If it was up to to do agian I would of saved my money and bought a different head unit. [ MARK  Nov 18, 2014 ]
Sorry Heather, I don't know. Crutchfield should be able to answer this better than me ! [ TIMOTHY P  Nov 18, 2014 ]
I do not know - apologies. [ PAUL  Nov 18, 2014 ]
Sure does. I have the iPhone 6 and have not noticed any issues! [ NATHAN R  Nov 18, 2014 ]
Yes [ JENNA  Nov 18, 2014 ]
I have a 6 plus and it works fine for men [ JENNA  Nov 18, 2014 ]
I haven't tried with the iPhone 6 or the new iOS. I actually sold the vehicle I put it in and bought a new Silverado. [ TRAVIS  Nov 18, 2014 ]

yes you can still stream music through Bluetooth. [ RAJENDRA  Dec 05, 2013 ]
yes it will i have both and i mostly stream pandora through bluetooth [ SEAN MC  Dec 05, 2013 ]
I have the iphone 5s and my wife has the iphone 4 and we stream music through Bluetooth without a problem and we aren't using the cable. The cable is only used if you want to stream music via cable or if you want to utilize app mode. Bluetooth has nothing to do with the cable it is a separate function used for streaming music. [ Matt2013  Dec 05, 2013 ]
yes , you will be able to bluetooth music to your radio [ CLARK R  Dec 05, 2013 ]
Absolutely! The connection just gives you touchscreen control of your phone. I usually just use the Bluetooth connection as it is automatically c [ NATHAN R  Dec 05, 2013 ]
Yes, it will stream music via Bluetooth. [ BRIAN  Dec 05, 2013 ]
Yes this connector is for vidio [ HENRY  Dec 05, 2013 ]
Yes it will. It will stream music and give full phone function without the cable. Really the only thing the cable adds is the ability to watch video, but even that is limited. I can't watch any of the iTunes movies because they are protected. I can watch most of my music videos, tv shows, and videos I have made. To be honest the app mode has added very little and I could have been happy without it, but I always need the latest gadget! [ SCOTT O  Dec 05, 2013 ]
Yes it will. [ JENNA  Dec 05, 2013 ]
Yes, you basically need the cable for the Appradio feature of the head unit. This been my experience with the AVH-X4500bt. [ MARK  Dec 05, 2013 ]
It will. The cable has nothing to do with the Bluetooth the radio has. The cable lets you view different apps on your radio and charge your phone. [ TRAVIS  Dec 05, 2013 ]
