One issue is that the directions with the package Crutchfield directions did not say to attach the yellow wire to a live wire. Its assumed that you would know? Other than that all was good. Take note that you have to program the tuner ahead of time using onl y windows XP. If if you have windows XP, the programing is very easy and only takes two minutes. Installation wiring was confusing, as it does not show it needs to be wired into 12v power. Also it showed in the instructions to place the 2 subunits away from each other. I had plenty of room under the dash so I called Crutchfield and they said the units could be place together. I tie wrapped them together the hid them behind the glove box. All works OK. I would like to see more than basic features fed to the radio head unit. Such as the ability to view stock quotes like my cheap XM Roady2 does. Also, it is a little expensive for what it does. I had to take my dash apart and take the unit out and send it to Audiovox so they could fix/replace it. This took 2+ weeks. Then I had to reinstall it again, call XM and change the frequency, and pay a $15 swap fee, all while still paying my monthly XM bill without the use of it for 2+ weeks. Now its been another 10 months and its broken again. Audiovox won't warranty it because its been longer than a year so the warranty is over. So now I have to buy another one and take the dash apart, AGAIN, because no one else makes it. And all this because I put a DVD player in my truck and had to buy this junk product because of course, the XM that came factory with my truck isn't compatible with anything after market.
