The good thing is that Audioquest has products suitable for people that can't afford a 1k interconnect. I used this product to bi-wire some speakers and even when it 's optimized for an in-wall application, I used it as regular speaker cable, just adding banana connectors in one end and the bare cable on the speaker side. The sound was great and is a very good quality wire. I went with the 14 AWG wire over the 16 AWG for obvious reasons and it's very easy to work and terminate the wire. One thing that surprised me is how the guys at Crutchfield protected the cable when they shipped it to me, there was like 5 levels of protection, it took me like 3 minutes to see what I had just bought. Price was great, I really needed the cable and I went with the ad to BBuy and they didn't match the price of the same product, so I had to order from Crutchfield on line, I had to wait a few more days but it's worth it, they shipped it very quick and for a very reasonable price.
