About the AudioQuest Cinnamon OptiLink

Steve Kindig

If you're wondering how to get a digital audio signal from your computer's mini-optical output to the full-sized Toslink optical input on your A/V receiver or DAC, AudioQuest's Cinnamon Toslink-to-mini-optical cable is a high-quality solution. This cable is a great choice for use with the 3.5mm dual-purpose headphone jack found on MacBook® and iMac® models. The core of the Cinnamon is a finely polished, low-distortion polymer fiber conductor that minimizes signal loss and jitter (time-based distortion).

  • full-size Toslink connector on one end, 3.5mm mini-optical connector on the other end
  • warranty: 5 years
  • MFR # OPTCIN05M

Q
I have bluetooth head sets for my tv, the converter that plugged into the tv was plugged into the Audio out on the tv. My new tv only has an Optical plug on it, how can I make this work without having to by new headsets? Is there a converter?

A
Hi Linda, it would be best if we could gather a little more information on the head sets you are using with your TV. Please chat with an Advisor online or by phone at 1-800-324-9695. We will be happy to help you find the best solution for your application.

Q
Hi There, Is this the correct cable ( # 703CPOM3M ) to get the audio from my Samsung HD 8550 TV to my Yamaha stereo receiver? I am not sure what cable is the right one?

1 answer
A
Yamaha stereo receivers can have a widely different set of audio inputs. Because of this, the only way to know if this cable can work is to call an advisor on 1-800-324-9695 to discuss your TV, Yamaha receiver, and content you view on the TV to figure out which cable will work.
