AudioQuest's Mini-3 cable is carefully constructed using the highest-quality materials, and goes through rigorous testing to ensure that it delivers the cleanest sound possible. Mini-3 uses AudioQuest's best Perfect-Surface Copper conductor — fewer irregularities on the surface and inside the conductor result in crystal-clear sound. Solid conductors eliminate interaction between wire strands, which can be a major source of sonic distortion.

You can use Mini-3 to connect your portable music player to anything with an auxiliary minijack input, like a car stereo or pair of desktop powered speakers.

Some may scoff at the idea of paying this much for a small, short audio cable. Those people will miss out on the absolute joy of listening through this fine work of audio technical art. Yes, art. Something happens to audio going through this cable -- something that's hard to put your finger on but it's real nevertheless. Digital recordings seem to smooth out, almost into a vinyl-like presence and soundstage. Highs become clearer and cymbals in particular seem to be more synchronized with the music, as if angels descended into my sound system and made things right. Instruments and voices in the midrange just seem a little more in tune, losing the dissonance that stranded, non-directional cables so often leave on music. Audioquest has captured magic here and put it into audio cables for us serious listeners. Buy it, break it in, and experience the magic for yourself.
