About the AudioQuest RCA Noise-Stopper Caps
Put a cap on interference
Put a cap on interference
You can't see it, but radio-frequency (RF) and electromagnetic (EM) interference is all around us. Cell phones, computers, microwave ovens, and loads of other devices generate this electrical noise. That noise can be picked up by sensitive audio components a number of ways, including through open RCA and XLR inputs. RF interference is particularly problematic for high-performance audio gear, harming dynamics and clarity.
To reduce the amount of interference entering your system, try "capping" all unused RCA inputs. You may be pleasantly surprised by a deeper background silence and subtle, previously unheard details emerging from your system.

These are a bit pricey at $5.00 a piece, but it's worth it for keeping dust and such off-and-out of my unused RCA terminals. Further, it's a nice, professional looking finishing touch, as they look very nice!
