Features
Overview: The Grundig G1100 is a portable AM/FM/SW radio.
The unit can be powered by two AA batteries or an optional AC adapter (not
included). A stand flips out from the back to sit the radio at an angle.
Controls:
- Power/Sleep: turn power on/off or engage sleep timer
- Band: choose AM, FM, or one of the ten Short Wave bands
- Alarm/Lock: turn alarm on/off or lock/unlock the button

Short Wave: The SW (Short Wave) receiver covers ten bands;
13 meter, 16 meter, 19 meter, 22 meter, 25 meter, 31 meter, 41 meter, 49 meter,
60 meter, and 75 meter.
Tuner: Although the readout is digital, the tuner is analog, allowing
fine frequency tuning.
Clock: The clock will
display time of day in 12 or 24 hour format.
Alarm: The alarm can sound
a buzzer or play the radio. The snooze button pauses the alarm for approximately
10 minutes.
Sleep Timer: The sleep
timer can be set to 5, 10, 15, 30, 45, 60, 90, 75,or 120 minutes.
Antenna: This AM antenna in built into the radio. The 22"
telescoping antenna covers FM and Short Wave bands.
Headphones: On the side of the radio is a 3.5mm (1/8")
headphone jack.
