Great product

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Very nice. Won't charge my iPad but it maintain's it at it's current level ("Not Charging"). Sound is great for such a small set of speakers.

Pros: Solar power/recharge. Ability to recharge iPhone w/solar power.

Cons: solar panel is easily scratched. So far doesn't take away from it's ability to charge but you have to be careful with it if you want it to continue looking new.

Solar means no plugs

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I've had the Rukus about a month and use it outdoors by the pool and on the deck. I run pandora off my iphone primarily. Solar works well. Finally, no need to run an extension cord to get music outside. Kids use it occasionally for dance parties in the basement. Very portable. Feels rugged enough. Haven't had any issues.

Pros: Solar works Bluetooth works No need for extension cords

Cons: None

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This speaker replaced another that I had broken. It has fantastic sound quality and is easy to carry. I got it for the pool but I end up carrying it all over my house while listening to iTunes Radio.

Pros: Sound, portability

Cons: Small handle

Decent Speakers

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

These speakers pack a powerful little punch. They get pretty loud and it sounds very clear as well. The fact that it's water resistant and it can recharge itself and your device at the same time makes it very unique. A lot of features come in these little speakers. It was a solid buy. If your an out-doorsy type of person these speakers are great for you.

Pros: Solar panel is great! Overall pretty clear speakers.

Cons: Wish it had a little more bass response.

I believe so. I haven't charged mine much and it works great! [ WILLIAM T  Aug 14, 2014 ]
I am not sure but at the beach it would last all day and I would plug it in most nights. Never really ran out of power. I have a small jbl that I love but only get about 2 hours before it needs recharged. [ Jeff  Aug 14, 2014 ]
I have only used it one day at the beach, I used it in the sun for like 6-7 hours and charged my phone with it. Then another 2-3 hrs when dark. It was fully charged when I took it out to the beach. [ Jonathan  Aug 14, 2014 ]
As far as I can tell yes. As long as it is outside it charges. You don't have to put it in direct sunlight. The sound quality is good and it connects to my bluetooth on my cellphone with no problems. [ Rickey  Aug 14, 2014 ]
