Rescue your music from the limitations of stock earbuds with this portable on-ear design from Klipsch. The Image One (II) headphones feature the same great detailed sound of the previous Image One, but with a new look designed to make it even easier to enjoy the Klipsch sound everywhere you go. The new Image One features flat ear pads that rest gently against your ears for long-lasting comfort that helps keep out external distractions. And the ear cups fold flat for easy portability, with or without the supplied travel case. The result is clear sound from a lightweight on-ear headphone you won't hesitate to wear when you're on the move.

Overview: The Klipsch Image ONE II high-performance headphones have a sleek design with brushed aluminum ear cups and a leather-covered headband and ear cups. The headphones come with a tangle-resistant flat cable with an in-line remote/microphone to give you control of your digital music or phone calls. The headphones collapse and fold for storage in the supplied compact zippered case.

Cable: The 56" tangle-resistant flat cable attaches only to the left ear cup so it's out of your way. The in-line remote/microphone is only 7" from your ear to ensure your voice is heard loud and clear during your phone calls. The cable is terminated with a 3.5mm miniplug, and includes a 3.5mm-to-1/4" adapter and an airline adapter.

Remote/Microphone: The 3-button remote/microphone allows you to raise and lower the volume with the outer buttons, while the center button can control your phone calls or music. During music playback and phone calls, the control function is determined by the number of center button presses:

  • One Press: Pause/Play; Answer/Hang Up
  • Two Presses: Skip to next track
  • Three Presses: Skip to previous track
  • Press and Hold: "Voice Over" feature (such as the iPhone's Siri), if available

Compatibility: The remote control is "Made for iPod, iPhone, and iPad", which means that it is certified to meet Apple performance standards. Models listed by Klipsch include: iPod touch (2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th gen), iPod nano (4th, 5th, 6th, 7th gen), iPod classic (120 GB, 160 GB), iPod shuffle (3rd, 4th gen), iPhone (3 GS, 4, 4S, 5), and iPad (iPad, 2, 3, 4, mini).

  • Frequency Response: 16 Hz to 23 kHz

Excellent Purchase

Written By Anonymous, Elmira, NY on Friday, August 02, 2013
Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)
Let me start by saying I am not a high fidelity kind of person, that said I listen to music daily while I work. I purchased these for use with my work computer and they replaced a pair for skullcandy lowriders. The sound is a little on the warm side but is still very clear without overpowering bass. In my opinion these headphones sound amazing, I have heard subtle notes in my music that i never knew was there before. My favorite p[art about these headphones though is the comfort. I use these 8 hours a day every day and at the end of the day i really don't want to take them off, they feel like my own personal pillows lol. They do not really supply noise cancelling so if that is important to you i would look elsewhere.
comfort, comfort, comfort Clear sound without overpowering muddy bass
if i had to list a con i would say the cord is a bit delicate, but honestly you shouldn't be beating up a pair of headphones at or above this price.

Not a model expressly built for noise reduction but does an excellent job of dispersing an warm sound stage with out injected distortion and a pretty flat response curve.
