High Efficiency: The high-efficiency design of the Klipsch in-wall speakers allows you to get much more output than most in-wall and in-ceiling speakers. Due to the long speaker wire runs that are common in whole-house audio systems, the power coming from the amplifier is significantly reduced by the time it reaches the speakers. The 92dB efficiency of this speaker means it will play much louder at low power than other less-efficient speakers. Fills in the missing sound from the back of the room. It is detailed and crisp with an ever so slight bright sound that is easily fixed after the cover is solidly in place by tweaking the receiver's FIR equalizer by just 1 or 2 dB. The build quality is typical Klipsch-- superb. Highly recommend this speaker and the comparable 5800-W to anyone wanting very efficient, in-wall designs. Both of these speaker models voice perfectly with their Klipsch boxed counterparts. A note on installation. The Klipsch wall mount system is very easy to use--cut the hole per the cutout dimensions, and wire it up.
