I was upgrading my stereo system to surround sound I had two 10 year old Klipsch towers so wanted to add a Klipsch RC-52 center speaker. The sound from all three units blend well together. I am pleased with the results.

Great!

I replaced some 10 year old stolen Klipsch with the Reference series. They sound great. I'm giving it 4 stars because I really believe the appearance & shape of my older center speaker was cleaner & more attractive. Nevertheless, it sounds great. I was told years ago that if you want speakers more for music than theater, go Klipsch, but I now believe that I'd amend that to say just go Klipsch no matter what!

Very, Very Pleased!

I recently purchased the Klipsch RC-52 center channel speaker through the scratch and dent department at a substantially reduced price. I cannot be any more pleased with my purchase. I could not find any signs of inperfections (thanks Crutchfield) and the sound of the speaker is awesome. I am powering a 5.1 surround setup via a Onkyo TX SR876 receiver. I have a pair of Thiel CS 2.2 speakers as my front left and right speakers and a pair of Bose 101 speakers as surround left and right speakers. My subwoofer is a powerful MK MX-90. I use a Sony Playstation 3 for blu-ray and dvd playback and a Samsung HL67A750 television to watch the movies. Outstanding results!Thank you cruchfield!

Way Happy

We put a pair of Klipsch RB-51 book shelf speakers to either side of a Klipsch RC-52 center channel speaker and hooked them into an Onkyo TXSR606 Receiver, and for just over 1,100 we have a wonderful sounding system.
I'm no "audiophile," I was just looking to supplement the built in speakers on our Samsung HD flat screen. Those speakers were really awful and distorted whenever they had to handle any lows.
When we purchased this system it was with the intent to move the book shelf speakers to the rear and purchase a pair of tower speaker when our budget allowed for them. That's now a low priority. Our music and movie sound needs are being nicely met.
I chatted with a Crutchfield audio advisor twice prior to buying. And that was great. They answered all my questions and were very helpful in pinning down the receiver we selected.
Since I mentioned what I paid, I should also say that we initially budgeted 1,000 and had selected the book shelf speakers and receiver only to find them on sale when we actually placed our order. That saved us a couple hundred dollars and allowed us to go a little over budget and also have the center channel speaker, which made all the difference in the world. The system doesn't sound nearly as full without the center channel speakers.
