Realistic home theater sound starts with the center channel

Klipsch's RC-62 II delivers all the subtleties and dynamics required for a riveting home theater experience. Using patented Klipsch speaker technology, it fleshes out the front soundstage, ensuring that you hear every word, every detail of your favorite movies. Whether you place this speaker above or below your TV's screen, you can use the included feet to tilt and aim the speaker precisely at your listening position for the best possible sound.

Horn technology for "front row" sound

All Reference Series II speakers feature a redesigned version of Klipsch's famous horn-loaded tweeter. Because high-frequency sounds are more directional than bass frequencies, it's especially important to target them right toward your ears. Klipsch places their titanium tweeter inside a flared opening, known as a "horn," which disperses the highs evenly across your listening area in a 90°-wide, 60°-high pattern. With their Series II speakers, Klipsch has redesigned the shape and slope of their famous horn enclosure, so your movie soundtracks and music will sound more "open," with improved dynamics and efficiency. All in all, you can count on powerful, "front row" sound that's crystal-clear at all volume levels.

High-tech driver design

The RC-62 II also uses newly machined, light-yet-rigid Cerametallic woofers that produce smoother mids and tighter bass. The specially treated aluminum in the cones helps to dampen unwanted vibrations and reduce distortion, while an integrated dustcap gives them a cleaner look and adds stability. And the rigid, braced cabinet comes in a handsome woodgrain vinyl finish.

Check out the rest of our Klipsch lineup to build a complete Reference Series II home theater system. And don't forget to add a Klipsch subwoofer for high-impact bass.

Your home theater's most important speaker

The center channel speaker is the workhorse in a home theater system. It has to reproduce clear dialogue and special effects that keep your eyes and ears glued to the movie action. A high-quality center speaker is a great investment for any surround sound setup. Try to choose one that's as closely matched as possible to your front right and left speakers, so that as sound moves across the front stage, it stays seamlessly realistic.

Driver Technology

Highly-Efficient Design: The Klipsch RC-62 II utilizes a highly efficient design to produce more output using less power & energy for louder sound with less distortion. The RC-62 II is able to fill larger rooms with outstanding, accurate, non-fatiguing sound that you can listen to for hours.

Tractrix Horn Tweeter: The RC-62 II features an exclusive Tractrix Horn which provides a more genuine, lifelike sound. In addition, behind each horn lies a 1.0-inch titanium tweeter with a linear travel suspension for open, natural, sound. The Tractrix Horn delivers a 90-degree wide by 60-degree high dispersion pattern for a broader sound-stage.

Cerametallic Woofer: The dual 6.5-inch woofers of the RC-62 II center channel loudspeaker features Klipsch's distinctive, copper-colored Cerametallic material. Made with an anodized aluminum, this cone is strong and dent resistant. The anodizing process converts its inner and outer surfaces to ceramic. The outcome is a rigid cone with superb damping characteristics that will not flex or resonate at frequencies within the woofer's operating range The 6.5-inch woofers also employ a rubber surround for added durability.

Crossover Network: The Klipsch RC-62 II's crossover network is constructed using extremely high-quality components including top-of-the-line internal wiring, polyester film-type capacitors and an air-core inductor to ensure signal purity and proper driver integration. The speaker's enhanced crossover frequencies offer smoother on-axis and off-axis integration.

Enclosure Design

Bass Reflex Enclosure: The dual 6.5-inch Cerametallic cone woofers and 1-inch titanium diaphragm compression driver are mounted in a bass reflex enclosure which features two front-firing ports. The twin front-firing ports eliminate turbulence noise, while increased baffle ribbing around the horn mouth and woofers dramatically improves acoustics across the sonic range. The bass reflex enclosure features a MDF cabinet finished with a Black Ash wood-grain vinyl and an aluminum front baffle. The RC-62 II's rigid cabinet offers improved internal cross-bracing to minimize panel vibrations that can color sound.

Magnetic Grille: The center channel loudspeaker features a removable magnetic grille which easily snaps into place over its cast-aluminum front baffle. The speaker can be used with or without its grille in place.

Binding Posts: The Klipsch Reference Series RC-62 II is equipped with sturdy binding posts to ensure a secure connection to many types of cable and connectors. The binding post terminals will accept banana plugs (single only), pin-connectors, spade-connectors, and bare wire.

Mounting Options

Magnetically Shielded: The Klipsch RC-62 II center channel loudspeaker is magnetically shielded to prevent video interference.

Placement: The RC-62 II should be centered directly above or below your video screen. If necessary, you can place the speaker on an optional floor stand in front of and below the screen that elevates it to the correct height. Ideally, however, the speaker's front baffle should be flush with the front of the screen.

Rubber Feet: The center channel speaker comes with six self-adhesive rubber feet to secure the speaker in place and prevent any damage to your stand's or shelf's surface.

Note: The rubber feet add approximately 0.3125" to the height of each speaker.

Adjustable Angle: If the center speaker is well above or below the ear height of seated listeners, you can improve performance by angling the center channel slightly to compensate. Included with the speaker is an adjustable foot that you can screw into one of the two threaded inserts on the bottom of the cabinet. To tilt the speaker down, install the foot in the insert near the back of the cabinet; to tilt the speaker up, install the foot in the insert near the front of the cabinet.

Outstanding center speaker

Written By Burl, Richardson, Texas on Wednesday, March 25, 2015

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Outstanding center speaker. A friend of mine has the same model and I was blown away by the clarity and range of his and I had to have one. The dialogue is clearer and the lows are lower. I also immediately noticed that it is a much higher efficiency speaker system than the one I had previously. I've since lowered the power up volume level to adjust for the higher output. It fits perfectly in my media cabinet and sounds great in our home theater. I'm Very Happy with my new Klipsch Reference RC-62 II center speaker.

Pros: Clear dialogue

Cons: I waited way too long to get one.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Excellent center channel . I am sure there are better but this works great RF-82 II s . You need to match your center channel with your fronts. The vocals are great. I am coming from a set of Pioneer Andrew Jones speakers I got several years ago. To get better you would need to spend a lot more on some fronts. and then maybe a lot more on amps to drive the those more expensive speakers. I have lost some of my hearing from my time in the military and working construction. They didn't have hearing protection then. I hear so much more threw these with much less power it is hard to describe. I need to pick up some better surrounds to go with this later on.

Pros: Accurate sound and vocals that you can hear. Doesn't require a lot of power to drive. Looks good. Cost for what you get. Abel to feel a large room. Center channel is 80% or more of what you hear so remember that when build a home audio system.

Cons: Size, but uyou need

Explosive sound packed with more detail

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I upgraded from the klipsch Rc-500 after plenty of research and glad I did. The intensity of the sound really brought the movies to life paired up with 4 klipsch RB-62ii and the klipsch sw112 subwoofer. Classic rock with 5ch stereo mode is detailed and the vocals clear and well pronounced. Anyone who claims the center channel is most important is correct.

Pros: Clean crisp balanced sound adding more detail not noticed before. Easy to configure sound level and enjoy in a matter of minutes.

Cons: Took to long before I could afford it ;-)

Excellent Speaker - changed the entire sound of our home theater set u

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I ordered this speaker for my husband. He had purchased a packaged receiver and Klipsch speaker set several years ago, but over time we have upgraded some of the components. He had mentioned looking for a good quality center speaker this year, so happy birthday to him! After pouring over reviews/articles I finally decided on this speaker. It took him over a month to open it up, but he finally did and it is absolutely hands down fantastic. He doesn't show a lot of emotion and hates receiving gifts, but I knew this was the winner when he sent me text message that said, 'thanks. the speaker is awesome.' A winner indeed!

The difference between the old center channel and new was extremely noticeable. It makes a real difference when utilizing the system.

This speaker is a monster and your standard entertainment center likely won't cut it. Not sure that is a problem for most audiophiles because entertainment centers don't work for better equipment. If your television is wall mounted you can place underneath it with no problem - do the speaker a favor and don't put a television on top of it.

We are utilizing this speaker with a Yamaha receiver, Klipsch RB-81 II shelf speakers, R-28F towers, and 2 reference subs.

Pros: The sound quality is incredible. We are finally able to clearly hear the voices in movies without having to jack up the volume. The balance with the other speakers is really outstanding and it makes the viewing experience so much better. Crutchfield service and return policy. Buyer beware - a lot of places don't let you return this item. Cheaper price isn't worth it.

Cons: None.

solid center-channel

Written By very satisfied with the sound, Baltimore, MD on Monday, January 19, 2015

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

These are not small speakers (for a center channel) by any means, but they definitely sound good. I've noticed a big difference in the sound quality of these 62's (stereo & center) speakers over my old Bose set. In their defense, the Bose speakers were much smaller & cheaper. For somebody who is looking for a solid, above-average, combination surround sound for movies, Blueray concerts and solid traditional stereo sound, I highly recommend the RC-62 speakers. For more money there are obviously better speakers, but I think these will hit the sweet-spot for 95% of listeners. These things crank and sound great with my Denon surround sound system.

Pros: quality look & feel, solid sound, good intermediate size.

Cons: none

Kl[psch Reference RC-62 II

Written By FB, Massachusetts on Sunday, January 11, 2015

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The RC-62 II is every bit as good as all the reviews say it is and my comments really can not add anything substantial to those observations. Yes, it is big and heavier than most center speakers. Is that a negative? Not in my book. You want good sound, you have to push air. One speaker does not make a system but this one will make a wonderful contributor to any decent system. If your hearing is a bit marginal this speaker will welcome you back to the world that is with greater clarity. This is the third center I have had in about year and a half. I have a reasonable basis for my observations. I am very happy with this acquisition. The tilting mechanism is well conceived and executed, simple and elegant.

Pros: Wonderful sound and tonality.

Big center speaker

Written By Eric P., Virginia on Sunday, December 28, 2014

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

First of all let me say that this speaker is huge. It replaces a RC-500 that I had for about a year. My reason for purchasing the RC-62 II was my RF-82 II towers seem to out perform my center and I needed a center speaker that could keep up. The RC 62 does it beautifully. The sound and dialogue is a definite set up in quality. I'm totally satisfied with this speaker and this will be my last purchase for a while now that I have all matching speakers. My set includes RF 82 towers, RS 52 surrounds, SW-112 and SW-115. I'm pushing them with an Onkyo 818 av reciever and Oppo 103 bp.

Pros: Great sound and clear dialogue

Cons: None

Klipsch RC-62 II

Written By Mikey, Santa Barbara, California on Monday, December 22, 2014

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Outstanding center channel speaker especially for the $. Compared to DT, JBL & Polk & $ for $, the RC-62 has a "cleaner" mid-range which is key for a center channel. Driven w/ 125Wrms PA, it's efficiency & clarity compliments JBL Pro horns (R & L fronts), actually better than the JBL centers I listened to.

Pros: Excellent freq. response & dispersion pattern for center channel as measured w/ spectrum analyzer. Robust construction. Nice (not outstanding) cherry finish.

Cons: Minor, but would like to see combo banana jack/spade lug wire connections.

Pros: Sleek design Great Sound Very Clear

Cons: None

Written By Charles, Virginia on Thursday, December 04, 2014

Have had this speaker since first introduced around 2005 or maybe 2006. It has gone through a few detail changes, but is still the same with an improved high end response since mine was made. In a word, it is "wonderful". Choice of a center channel speaker is critical to the sound quality of a multi-channel system, because about 75-80% of the sound comes through the center channel--the rest of the channels produce sound affects, ambient sounds and sometimes sounds that denote a spacial characteristic, but voices generally come through the center channel. This speaker reproduces voices perfectly--they sound real and have a distinct clarity without being overbearing. What about music? Music is reproduced perfectly. Since there are very few multi-channel CDs in existance, most music is just two channel and in a multi-channel system, the music is synthesized and sent to the various speakers. The center channel speaker prevents that "hole" in the middle, between the two main speakers from affecting sound quality and the RC-62 reproduces it perfectly, whether voice or music. Speaker is used with Klipsch Cornwalls, Klipsch RB-75, Klipsch SB2 and Klipsch RF-52.

Pros: Gorgeous to look at and very well made. Extremely efficient, it places very little load an an amp and matches the sound of other Klipsch speakers.

Cons: Big and heavy, which when you think about it, is not a "Con" at all.

Large, sweet speakers

Written By Wes S, North Carolina on Wednesday, December 03, 2014

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

For a decade I had the original Bose cube speakers. They were nice, but not in the same league as these. I always wanted great sound, and now I can have it.

I bought the Klipsch Reference RC-62 II (center channel), the Klipsch CDT-3650-C-II (in-wall/ceiling), Klipsch Reference RB-61 II (bookshelf), and a Klipsch R110SW subwoofer. I am still learning how to program the speakers and receiver, but I am confident that these speakers will do everything that I can ask them to do.

The only downside is size. You really need a lot of space. Check out the dimensions of the speakers and make certain that you have enough space.

Pros: Sound Quality

Cons: Size

Definitely earns all five stars.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This is a great center channel speaker. I can hear whisper quiet dialogue with the volume turned low at night. Once the volume is turned up, explosions are loud and gratifying with zero distortion. My preamp crossover is set to 80 and I think that's perfect for this speaker. I've read a few reviews/comments (not here on Crutchfield) that describe this family of speakers as bright or shrill with 'weak' mids. I've experienced none of that-and these just replaced Polk Audio towers that have the sweetest mids.

Pros: Sounds good, Looks good, efficient at low volume

Cons: Big (possibly a pro)

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I upgraded from an RC 52 to this speaker, there is a notable difference in dialogue volumes, the RC 52 was a great speaker when matched with other components from the 52 reference line, but I upgraded to the 62 series floor standing speakers and the 52 was outmatched. Upgrading to this speaker fixed that issue, the speaker is still breaking in but overall I am very pleased with the upgrade

Pros: Volume, Finish - Klipsch reference series great as always

Cons: None really, just a bit bigger

Excellent !

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I bought this speaker to improve my center channel over the RC-42 which I already had. They do this very nicely with much improved full response. This speaker is very nicely balanced without having too much of anything. The sound is clear and just right. I have a large room and it has no problem putting out more than enough volume. I highly recommend it.

Pros: Full response with plenty of base.

Cons: Weight, 35 pounds !

RC-62 II review

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Have been using an undersized center channel for more years than I will admit to. Even with a receiver that balances speaker volume based on listener seating location the center channel was always too soft. Not anymore, the RC-62 balances the dialogue and provides incredible sound. It is definitely large but matches the RF-82s. Luckily my cabinet is big enough to hold it and at the correct height for listening.

Pros: Great sound!

Cons: A bit large but worth the space it takes up.

I have been through a ton of center channels...And I must say that after testing out several, this is a fantastic LARGE center speaker...This is where all the voices have been...I have upgraded from the Bose Acoustimass system (which is a joke compared to the Klipsch separates I just installed. Last Center Channel You'll Need

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The Klipsch Reference RC-62-II replaced an old Infinity center channel I had for a number of years. I had always had issues with vocals sounding light and muffled on movie and TV playback. I finally decided to replace the Infinity model with the Reference RC-62 as I already had Klipsch Reference floor standing speakers with my main setup. I could not be happier with the RC-62. The minute I plugged in the speaker and turned on the receiver the sound was fantastic and almost blew me off the couch. I had not adjusted the volume level from the last time I had watched TV with the old Infinity attached. The sensitivity from the horn shaped Klipsch cannot be beat. I have never had any complaints with any of my Klipsch products and this one is no different. The price may seem slightly high compared to other low end models but you are paying for a fantastic product which will last a lifetime with Klipsch.

Pros: Vocals are crisp and easily audible even over loud background from movie soundtracks Sensitivity from horn shaped Klipsch tweeters is unmatched

Cons: Speaker is heavy so be sure you are supporting it correctly Old light speaker stands may not support the girth from the RC-62

Klipsch Reference RC-62 II

Written By mns3dhm, Bedford, TX on Friday, July 18, 2014

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I purchased the Klipsch RC 62 as the center channel in a Klipsch home theater setup. The speaker has a very high sensitivity rating so it can produce theater like volume levels with relatively little amplification. This is an important consideration with most home theater receivers. The RC 62 reproduces dialogue clearly and intelligibly and that is the one thing that I really care about with a center channel. The speaker also integrates well with the matching Klipsch floorstanding and bookshelf speakers in the Reference line.

Pros: Can achieve theater like volumes with relatively little amplification Reproduces dialogue clearly

Cons: The speaker comes with 'an adjustable foot' that allows you to angle the speaker up or down if need be (for placements below or above the screen). It's a good idea but terribly executed. You would be MUCH better off using Sorbothane bumpers to raise or lower the speaker angle.

Have refurbished some older KG-4 Klipsch speakers - replaced crossovers and upgraded to titanium domes on horns. Anyway, they can handle 200W and peak at 500W - not that they ever need that kind of power with their high efficiency. Have always had a Boston center channel and thought I should replace it with a Klipsch center channel when I had the chance. Bought the RC-62 II as its performance matched the large KG-4s. What I didn't expect was how well the 62 meshed with the KG-4s. Now on a good Blue Ray master track the front three speakers work ridiculously well together. You really don't notice the speaker location anymore. Couldn't be more happier with this 30lb beast - also like the little pole on the back that allows you to raise the back end of the center speaker to aim it down a bit. Wouldn't hesitate at all to recommend this speaker. I think the smaller Klipsch centers would be overwhelmed and frankly I do not have the budget for the bigger $1400 version. Also, although usually do everything via UPS and online - I was passing through Charlottesville on vacation and was able to visit the mecca - Crutchfield Store - very impressed and wishing we had one here. Fit the speaker in the back of the Subaru and drove couple thousand miles pretending to be UPS :)

Pros: Efficient compression horn driver and two stout 6.5 woofers. Heavy box with no noticeable resonation from speakers. Appears to handle large amounts of power effortlessly. Nice muted look with grill - does not attract attention to itself.

Cons: None

Great product!! This center channel speaker greatly enhanced the overall effect of my 7.1 system compared to the powered Vizio sound bar (being used as center channel) i replaced. Dialog from my movies are much louder and clearer now with this product.

Pros: Solid product supporting a good range of frequencies for a center channel speaker.

Cons: None.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I am in the process of upgrading my HTS and knew I was going to go with the Reference series (I was very pleased with my decade plus old Synergy's). Plus, with the excellent pricing on the cherry finish I was able to 'upgrade' and bust the Rf 62 II over what my wallet said I could afford with the RF 52 II.

My out of the box impressions were 'the finish is really nice' and 'wow, this speaker is bigger than even really large bookshelf speakers!'. Once I hooked this bad boy up to my new receiver and RF 82 II's (cherry finish as well), I knew I had made a good choice. Very crisp reproduction of voice and room filling dialogue proved to me that my Synergy center just wasn't cutting it any more. As a matter of fact, the sound was so good with my new audio setup it actually made my 61' DLP seem small...and I had to upgrade my TV to match my new sound system...what a shame ;)

Pros: Trademark Klipsch clarity Definitely fills my room so much better than my old Synergy The cherry finish is really much nicer looking in person than the pic Special price allowed me to 'upgrade' from what I had originally planned on buying

Cons: Made in China...I'm a bit disappointed here because my old Synergy models were made in Hope, AK. Surely if those could have been made in the US these could have been as well?

This is great for watching regular TV, blu-rays sound amazing. SACD's sound much better through this. Sounds are accurate and never distorted. This was worth every cent...highly recommended!

Cons: Average finish. Would be nice to have standard spacing on banana plug connections.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Crisp, clear sound. I purchased the RC-42 first, but exchanged it for this RC-62. The difference was huge. The advise to spend the bulk of your budget on the center channel is correct, in my experience. Worth the money, for sure.

Pros: Great full-range sound, attractive

Cons: pricey, fairly large

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Exchanged the RC-52ll for this speaker and very glad I did. Now have RC 62 ll Tower speakers, pair of RC 61ll bookshelf speakers and this for center. Kept my surround speakers and woofer from an Atlantic technology set up. Have an Onkyo NR 709 and an Oppo 103. It all fits together nicely. Very crisp and melodic. Great depth of sound. The Klipsch melds well with the other speakers. Very happy with my set up. Crutchfield and sales people great to work with and delivery speed excellent.

Pros: Appearance and sound fantastic

Cons: none

I'm so happy I upgraded from the RC 52 II. It's big but the sound improvement is well worth the size! It's so clear I can't say enough good about the RC 62 II!

Pros: Sound quality

Cons: SIZE

Exceptional Center Speaker RC-62 II

Written By Doc, Anasco, PR on Wednesday, July 03, 2013

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

WOW, this speaker is fantastic!!! My old Klipsch RC 52(?) was decent but lacked something. My desire to listen to better dialog needed attention. I focused on Klipsch again for another center speaker as my towers and surround are Klipsch. I know the front L-C-R are the main ingredients to the HT as I mainly watch Blu-rays with my Oppo-93 and on my new 60" LED TV. NOW my new center speaker RC-62 II resides in same location as the old and now my ears hear details that I've missed before. I've watched the same movie again in my new RC-62 II and hear much, much better sound detail than before. Pls note that I have high frequency hearing lose and now I hear detail I didn't notice before. Kudos to Klipsch. Also I must comment on Crutchflieds' exceptional shipping service. I live in the boonies (Anasco) in Puerto RIco, a small town on the west side. My RC-62 II arrived in 2 days. NOW that's great customer service!!! I will order my new Klipsch towers from Crutchfield in the near future. Amazing!

Pros: Wonderful clarity, vocals and detail. Price, I used my 4906 points and received a $93.00 credit off the price Style-beautiful Black Ash; blends in greatly with my existing Klipschs

Cons: Had to rearrange my entertainment center to fit this enormous center speaker I have to re-watch my 300+ Blu-ray movies again on my new RC-62 II to hear what I missed

I was looking to upgrade my center speaker and the RC62 provided a noticeable improvement in sound, asthetics and power.

Pros: Sounds great and requires less energy to produce the same level of sound as my previous center speaker.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

This speaker was the last piece for my 5.1 system that I added and it has not disappointed. I put the blue ray of Avatar on and watched it...awesome. I played the opening sequence for my whole family and they were all impressed. Listening to the world series was amazing. Very clear and rich reproduction of all the dialogue. Very happy and you will be as well.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I'm not going to go into details regarding sound quality because every ear is different, but let me just say this is a HUGE improvement from my previous HT speakers. I love them! I bought the RB-82II speakers to go along with it. Unbelievable sound at a great price. Get the Cherry finish to get a great buy. You won't go wrong!

Product works as advertised. Nice fit and finish. Cabinet is strong enough to hold a 60" flat screen plasma TV on it. Sounds great. Good value.

Klipsch RC-62ii works great

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I just bought this speaker and have not had time to hook it up. My friend has the exact same model in his home theater set-up that I have listened to dozens of times and it is nice. BTW, he is impressed too. I didn't plan on changing my home theater around right away but heard they were dropping the cherry veneer so I rushed in to buy all new speakers.

Pros: Solid cabinet and solid sound. Looks awesome and matches my RF-82ii front speakers.

Cons: I'm going to have to modify my entertainment center to hold this thing. I knew this when I bought it so not an issue.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Bought this center to go along with my four Klipsch RF-52 II's. Couldn't imagine the sound being any better. I think I may upgrade the two front RF-52's to the RF-62's just so the sizes match, since I like to leave the grille covers off while in use. No real reason other than the speakers look great. Then I can use the existing RF-52's to convert to a 7.1 from a 5.1 surround system. I have had these speakers for a few weeks now and they have put up with everything I could think to put at it. Including bass test cds I used for my car system back in the day. :) No distortion, only crisp clean sound, great choice for anyone. After listening to my home surround I noticed today that the theater did not seem to sound as good as my house. I guess this could save me money in the long run...

Great Center Speaker

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Just installed my new Klipsch RC-62 II center speaker from Crutchfield on May 27, 2011, in the shelf over my 54" Panasonic Plasma and wired to an Onkyo TX-SR 806 receiver (all 3 purchased from Crutchfield). The sound is excellent, full and sharp. I am very pleased. The speaker carries the full spectrum of sounds and the speech is easily heard and understood.I love Klipsch speakers and want to upgrade my right and left Klipsch (pre-metal woofers) with two RF 52 II (my furniture will not accomodate the bigger 62 models). I always enjoy doing business with Crutchfield who gives such excellent overviews of their products, promptly delivers, & provides good techs to speak with when needed.
