Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Plain and simple a wall outlet. Cheaper on Crutchfield than other websites, and stores such as Lowe's and Home Depot. Plus you get to support Crutchfield!

Pros: Not cheap plastic and doesn't crack if screwed into all the way.

Cons: None, its a wall plate how can you complain for a wall plate with fuzzy brissels

inexpensive cableing solution

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Instead of the complex boxes for cable routing this was easy as pie. I used a standard low voltage wall bracket with wings. Then attached the On-Q to it. A HDMI RG-59 and a control cable comes in via this port and it works really well ! A very easy install for a flat panel tv ! Thank you Crutchfield for carrying this product !!

Pros: Easy Install great design !

Cons: not from here

Great wall plate

Written By JoshS, Wisconsin on Thursday, December 02, 2010

I bought a pair of these for my TV setup in your living room to mount a TV above
your fireplace. I know this goes against the rules of mounting a TV, but this i
the only real place to mount it and maximize the use out of the room.

These wall plates do a fantastic job of cable management and also the ability to
run cables in the walls. I did not want to have the cables running around the
outside. I wanted a clean looking install and these plates have met and exceed
my expectations.

Great product

This is a great product that allows you to run wires directly without using pass through connectors and it looks better than just having an open rocker type wall plate (great for HDMI cables).

Product Research

Overview: The On-Q In-Wall Cable Access Port consists of a WP1014 cable access strap with a Decora wall plate. It is white in color, and facilitates running A/V and computer cables inside of the wall. It is designed to work with a standard J-box.

Unterminated: The in-wall cable access port does not have terminals, but a 2-1/8" x 3/4" opening for cable access. The opening is protected by white nylon bristles for a clean look. Since the port is not made for any specific type of cable, virtually any type of cable can be used with this access port.
