Features

Overview: The RemoteLinc wireless remote sends commands to the INSTEON system's Access Points via radio frequency; the Access Points then forward the commands to INSTEON devices (dimmers, relays, etc) installed in the system. The RemoteLinc has controls to adjust six linked devices or scenes (groups of devices, up to 417, programmed to the same button). There are also buttons to turn all devices linked to the RemoteLinc on or off simultaneously and buttons to dim or brighten the last devices accessed. Between the two rows of scene buttons is a plastic cover, behind which you can place a customized label.

INSTEON System: This line of lighting and appliance control utilizes INSTEON technology, using existing power wires as well as wireless radio frequency (RF) to send home automation control signals to INSTEON devices throughout the house. You must have at least two INSTEON Access Point couplers/signal repeaters (item number 7262443P) installed to control the system in a typical residence (2-phase wiring).

Range: The transmission range from the RemoteLinc to an Access Point is approximately 150 feet.

Non-Volatile Memory: All RemoteLinc settings are stored in non-volatile memory; they are not lost when changing the batteries.
