High-res audio

Add a high-res USB connection to your home theater receiver or DAC

Want to play music files from your computer through your home theater receiver? Great product

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

We have a older Harmon Karden sound system with sub woofer. Because of Windows XP we had to obtain a new computer w/windows 8 and the new one did not have the RCA tie ins for this the sound system that created that great sound we love. New computer had several USB ports available and I thought there might be a device available that would plug in to the USB and convert the data available into what my stereo needed. At first I looked around to various places and none of them had any idea what I was talking about much less have anything. Then I saw my Crutchfield catalog a thought if anyone would have one and know about them it would be them. Once again I was right. I also knew that any product provided by them would be a quality item. Thank you for your superior products and tech help.

Now, you can listen to your favorite digital music files stored on your computer through your existing home entertainment system (all it needs is a coaxial digital input).

24-bit/96kHz Resolution: The Peachtree Audio T1 accepts up to 24-bit/96kHz sampled audio files for playback of high-resolution music. Compatible sampling rates include; 32kHz, 44.1kHz, 48kHz, or 96kHz There is no up-conversion.

Windows/Mac Compatible: The Peachtree Audio T1 is supported by Windows 2000, XP, and 7; plus Mac OS X.

Connections: The Peachtree Audio T1 is fitted with a USB (type-B) port which connects to your computer or laptop (Windows/Mac compatible). The other end of the T1 is fitted with a S/PDIF coaxial (RCA) digital output, used to connect your outboard DAC or home theater receiver. Cables sold separately.

  • Adaptive Mode USB: The T1 uses adaptive mode USB that relies on your computer to control the flow of data streaming from the USB port.
  • Transformer Coupled Digital Output: A pulse transformer on the T1's digital output isolates electrical noise so only the pure digital bitstream is fed to your DAC or home theater receiver for noticeably quieter backgrounds.

Power Requirements: The Peachtree Audio T1 is powered by your computer's USB (type-B) port. No outboard power supply required.
