Overview: The Kodak Zi6 is a pocket-sized digital video camera that is
capable of recording high definition and standard definition video and digital
still images. It has a 2.4" LCD screen for recording and playing back your
videos and still images.
File Format: The Zi6 records video in H.264 (MOV) format with AAC mono
audio. You can choose between the following formats:

Internal Memory: The camera features a built-in 128 MB internal
memory. Approximately 30 MB is available for image storage.
SD/SDHC: Optional SD or SDHC (high capacity) memory cards can be used
to store videos and still images. The Zi6 can accept SD/SDHC cards up to 32 GB.
Lens: The Zi6 has a fixed focus 4.1mm, f/2.8 lens with two focus
modes: Normal and Close-Up. The focusing range is 27.6" to infinity in normal
mode. Minimum focus range in Close-Up mode is 2". The camera also has a 2x
digital zoom.
Joystick Control: You can control the Zi6 using the built-in joystick
control. In record mode, you can start/stop recording, zoom in/out, and select a
recording mode. In playback mode, you can play/pause the current video,
raise/lower the volume, select previous/next video, or fast-forward or fast
rewind through the current video.
Built-in USB: When you've finished shooting your video, you can upload
it to your computer using the built-in retractable USB plug (Type A). This unit
is compatible with USB 2.0 (high speed) for fast uploads.
Audio/Video Outputs: The Zi6 comes with an A/V cable (stereo audio and
composite video) so you can watch your videos on your TV. If you have an HDTV,
use the supplied component video cable and the A/V cable for watching your
videos in high definition (the composite video plug is unused). You can select
NTSC or PAL video output.
Power Requirements: The Zi6 operates on two "AA" batteries.
Nickel-Metal Hydride (Ni-MH) rechargeable batteries are recommended. Two pre-charged Ni-MH
batteries are supplied with the camera, along the K630 Kodak Mini-Charger. The
charger fits both "AA" and "AAA"-sized rechargeables. The supplied batteries
charge in approximately 12 hours in the K630 charger.
Supplied Software: The camera comes with ArcSoft MediaImpression
software (PC only). With the software loaded onto your computer, you can:
- Edit and trim videos
- Add pictures and music to your videos
- Grab still images from your video frames
- E-mail your creations or upload to YouTube right from the software
